happen to me too on 1st try.

i think ori dock need at least 500mA to get activated. I try on notebook, notebook dock and Sony TV, all doesn't work. I try again using various USB adapter and powerbank from 500mA and above, all work fine. My 3rd party magnetic cable work fine on all USB.

make me kan chiong only. thought got faulty magnetic charging port

add a small note/guide for people who want to go to SEMS

How to go to SEMS Services Sdn. Bhd.

1) Go to Amcorp Mall @ Taman Jaya, PJ
2) Go inside the mall, go to level 1. To be more precise, turn left when you enter the mall (turn left after the camera shop which is on your left, and Victoria Music Station will be on your right, corner shop)
3) Turn left, go straight all the way, and you should see an escalator on your right side.
4) Go up and you should be right in front of Watson. Next to Watson (on your right when you land on first floor), should be a small 'alley'. Go inside that walkway and you will come to "Plaza Malawangi"
5) Exit the big door and you will see two lifts. NOT THE LIFT WITH BIG DOORS, THAT'S IS A LOADING BAY LIFT.
6) Go up to Level 9.
7) Exit lift, turn right, turn left, turn right again.
8) SEMS will be on your right, 2nd or 3rd unit.

Just Manual mode with ISO set to 1600. the rest are default. I don't really bother on metering mode

I have a funny story on tech repairs.

One day a friend walked into Machines hoping to repair his MBP that couldn't boot.
Tech guy took it, charged RM50 for diagnostic returned it 3 days later.
In his report, it costs 1.6k to change the mobo. It's fried, he said. There's even a picture to prove the internal burn marks
Tulan-ed, said friend asked for alternatives. I directed him to Maccore.
They took it, diagnose, and repair it for RM50. Solution? reformat.
Oh, there was no such burn marks inside. They even took it apart in front of my friend.

I only encounter this problem when using those 3rd party magnetic cable. No problem so far using the ori charging dock

yeah wonder why? if it don't see as charging i can understand but when it is charging and connected to a ac adaptor i really pening

My guess is the quality of the cable or the metal connector which deteriorate over time.

The cable charges my phone no problem at all when I first bought it. Only face this problem recently.

i bought mine less than a month ago. it is always kadang-kadang. because of this sometimes when it didn't charge overnight make me kinda pissed off
