I do question the motives of fresh Android users for rooting.. Really, why do you want to root?

I'm kinda disappointed with Z1's camera. Used manual all the way too. The pictures are barely postprocessable. Will there ever be RAW? =(

Still waiting for 4.3 OTA. Unwilling to lose root =/

I think rooting is easier than unlocking you bootloader

if you're already using SP front and back, then technically its just your low quality protectors that is scratched and not your actual phone.

Can't remember who served me, there's actually a lot of staff there. I was surprised that there's already 5+ customers at 11am Sunday. Had to wait a while before someone attended me. I got a friendly guy, let me touch touch see see first =)

I have a funny story on tech repairs.

One day a friend walked into Machines hoping to repair his MBP that couldn't boot.
Tech guy took it, charged RM50 for diagnostic returned it 3 days later.
In his report, it costs 1.6k to change the mobo. It's fried, he said. There's even a picture to prove the internal burn marks
Tulan-ed, said friend asked for alternatives. I directed him to Maccore.
They took it, diagnose, and repair it for RM50. Solution? reformat.
Oh, there was no such burn marks inside. They even took it apart in front of my friend.

I did. So far no problems.

I seriously doubt that. What you're saying your phone will drain out in 10minutes with a full charge on just browsing around. I play NFS for at least 3 hours straight with volume before I hit 15%.

Try charging it overnight and see how it goes after a couple days. Maybe the battery info gotten wiped.

Just bought another Z1 =) My gf really loves it. Compared to the previous phone Note2, she like the display better. Smaller viewing angle = more privacy. Plus she commented that while she used to like the vibrant display, she now preferred the more natural colors of Z1.

Actually, without stamina mode I can actually last 2 days. Morning day 1 off charger, charging the next day late night with 10% left.
