yup.. SEMS service is excellent. I sent for screen replacement on Friday about 230pm, technician said it is possible to get it by 6pm the same day. I did not able to make it @ 6pm, since Saturday they closed and Monday Im outstation, I collect only on Tuesday.. status check on saturday via web shows 'Ready for collection'.

After seeing the youtube video on Z1\Z screen replacement, it takes about 30 minutes to do it.. seems so easy.. when my Z1 is more than 2 years old later and the screen crack, I might just do it myself... the screen cost +- RM200 on ebay..

hmm I have XS and X12... and my X12 is the one that i always on/off data and wifi for 3 years still working great. i sold off my XS because got value but X12... i'm still loving it

yup their service is the best. i'm sure they can service without any delays as parts are readily available cause Z1 has achieved a high sales volume

Kena cheat from them before too. That was about 2 years ago. Ever since then, I blacklisted them.


SEMS is really efficient and customer service is very good too. Went twice, very satisfied.

They even service my Xperia Mini Pro without delay. Xperia Mini Pro was not a popular phone, but they fixed it in just 1 working day, 2 times, which I'm very impressed.

Why i feel the power button like fragile only... Got other way to lock/unlock the screen?

Hi guys, there is some packages does not comes with the magnetic docking. I would like to ask, what is the default charging accessories cames within the box? Usb charger?

that's y some of us mod the phone and use the camera shutter button to wakeup the screen

(actually the power button on my phone feels ok, but just add another alternative for me )

if without the dock, the default charging is only the usb cable

damn... should have sent my Z1 to SEMS... but don't have time to go to SEMS... my case... Sony Plaza Berjaya still waiting for Sony Malaysia feedback whether replace/free fix/pay for the fix.

for my screen replacement, i tried call that service ctr at Berjaya.. they qouted me rm850, SEMS alrrady qouted rm 750 earlier. i waited for a week since sems said thier parts arriving in a weeks. true as they said. sent my z1 after confirm parts available.

Just manage to see those unboxing video, i found that the magnetic cable looks cool. Thx for the reply bro. Its helpful to confirm for me.

did u insert your phone correctly? make sure u hear a "click" sound when inserting your phone

and is the dock connected to adaptor or PC usb port? the dock won't work when connected to PC usb port.

but its really tight man.

it pushed my screen protector slightly.
