Spin fly with 2ft leader seems to be the best. try goign early before the water sports activity starts.

Ermm i use cheap @$$ apollo with this white feathers then i add my own glitters and other stuffs.
best to look at your christmas tree decor,.. pull some shinny stuff and tie to the apollo hook

was in KL for the past week. managed to fish 2 spots. CRs:

1) the kolam siakap at banting. barra's were relatively easy n fun. no GT or senangin wana layan that day. i also think fly would be better. managed to land a grouper towards the end of the day but yea, that was pretty much it

2) luring at exotic rawang. wasn't the best time to go. monday, late in the morning and the pond was just oily and full of 'fats' plenty of failed hookups and slips (including one biggie which gave me a good 10min workout before it gave the hook a slip). only managed 2 asians and that was it. worst part was that the oil was just horrible and i had to discard my line after that and give the reel a good clean.

Nvr buy pellets chunk @ jugra?

Monday they feed the fish with chicken intestine. Most of the fish are full. The oil is from the intestine. Go friday to sunday. Casting only works during hot weather. Water is too murky for casting at exotic.

For jugra sp works best, especially white or grey colour
