those foul hookers? I was there fishing once with my friends. Pond wasn't very productive. Saw this bunch of guys bout 3 person came in and fish. When we left we saw them going back with loads of fishes and my friend told me they foul hook the fishes one.

i know there's one mid 30's young man, will come with his porsche every afternoon, 3 hours fishing, back with at least 20 rohu..he doesnt play foul hook, he just cast, leave his rod alone, sit aside and chit chat and smoke... too bad he doesnt wanna reveal his bait

now that tmn desa is closed, bukit jalil pond is full almost everyday. shah alam pond damn packed on weekends, guess i'll visit paypond on a free weekdays, in seksyen 24 pond only

I'm not too afraid coz i bought through Amazon. So worst case scenario I don't get my reel in 2 months, I'll just file the case and get my money back.
The reel is about RM520 if not mistaken. Or bout 550. Lets just hope it's not at kastam. How to know if my reel is at kastam and how do I get it back?

Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend. However, after doing some amount of solo expeditions, I've come across some what you would call as 'empty freshwater' ponds and lakes around KK which I've decide to 'adopt' as new angling haunts, provided there isn't any of them nuisance netters around.

a wide but shallow one, seems cool for snakeheads.

But before adding predators, just wondering if you guys know any suitable baitfish species. I wanna introduce some protein for the snakeheads but am quite stumped for choice. There's the humble koruk,tilapias and sepat, but do you guys know any local species that breed fast and shoal in big numbers?  I know its a technical question, but i'm sure you guys can help me out with some pointers so i know woat to look out when visiting the local aquarium shop tommorow

Careful leh bro. Better debard your hook. Make it blunt. My friend went there and spent like couple of hundred bucks. Coz the siakap caught all must tapau back and its weighed by kilo.

haha cool, why dont you get a head mounted camera next? next time, you can get the full 3d mode action of casting lures and seeing the strike first hand.

btw, would you know where can i find LED UV light torches or flashlights in KL? they're called 'black lights', they'd be very useful to charge up my glow in the dark lures then i won't need to wait forever while using my standard LED head lamp which takes forever!

Guys any good spinning/baitcasting rod to buy below RM500? Need some recommendation. Around 8-15 lbs range. Cheaper the better
