How's it going guys? Been a long time. I see some new names and fresh faces. Nice.
How's the fishing? Seems quite quiet at the moment.

Prima is not bad for a day out at the lake. Can either bring UL setup for the Pb or a medium set for toman.
*
Thanks for the info. Easy access and a day out fishing. Guess it's ok.
Any lures to recommend etc?

Fishing light'ish - 8lb

1 more thing dotn bother buying branded or expansive braid line

just buy cheapo stuff with 60/70lb enough

because the line wont last long and the usage is quite rough, so no point spending the money
*
Is that because you're using cheap braid? I've had Powerpro's for 2 years using in saltwater and it's still fine.
Bought some cheap braid....80'lb......and it snapped whilst fighting a mekong. 30lb powerpro main line was fine....

actually i only have free time for this coming 2months, cause I have a short vacation now only. So i dont mind pay 200 for a short term hobby like this.
anyway, is it daiwa is a good brand? cause i read alot review saying there are good.

And anyone from Rawang here? maybe can become my sifu!!
*
Daiwa is a good brand. But to me there's local made rod's which are better then low end Daiwa models.
You will need to decide what kind of fishing you wanna do first before deciding what rod would be suitable. ie Line rating, action of rod, length.

I fish in rawang. next time i go come along.
