Guys, quick question. If carry those huge 'bazooka' rod tubes/case when flying can check in like normal? or need to buy sporting equipment?

was in KL for the past week. managed to fish 2 spots. CRs:
1) the kolam siakap at banting. barra's were relatively easy n fun. no GT or senangin wana layan that day. i also think fly would be better. managed to land a grouper towards the end of the day but yea, that was pretty much it 2) luring at exotic rawang. wasn't the best time to go. monday, late in the morning and the pond was just oily and full of 'fats' |

QUOTE(vioxmonsta @ Jun 8 2014, 11:38 AM) nope...they have it there?QUOTE(OlgaC4 @ Jun 8 2014, 11:16 PM) Monday they feed the fish with chicken intestine. Most of the fish are full. The oil is from the intestine. Go friday to sunday. Casting only works during hot weather. Water is too murky for casting at exotic. noted. yea...those slimes are just awful. |

QUOTE(amirudin920927 @ Aug 14 2014, 09:23 PM) nice setup. where u got ur bassterra rod? kinda hard to find these days, especially that model.QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Aug 15 2014, 01:51 PM) You are questioning people when you are using lpbc for surf fishing? this reply so much win you are not forgiven for being rude but you are forgiven for being ignorant. QUOTE(runeX @ Aug 15 2014, 02:01 PM) I used baitcasting reel its becoz its easier to cast heavy sinker..... i personally have not surf fished but i do know that bc allows further n more accurate casting. But is accuracy that important in surf fishing that requires precision of a bc? from my experience baitcaster not only cast further than surf reel but also more accurate..... no offence QUOTE(AlexNg87 @ Aug 15 2014, 02:11 PM) saya bukan orang kaya tapi hobi saya mahal my 2 cents, i think at the end personal satisfaction la. if u have no budget, skies the limit. just how would u like to enjoy ur fishing and the type of fishing u do yes u can spend on a cheap setup but the question of durability comes to play. cheap doesn't mean it will breakdown faster, but then again there's always a risk i've used cheap setups before, yes they get the job done. but beware that one day will come when u lost that trophy fish because ur gear malfunctioned or failed on you there's a reason why some fishing equipment are so high priced and why ppl are willing to fork out money for good gear. those who have will know why PS: stella is like butter...with 'poison' in it This post has been edited by kayent: Aug 15 2014, 06:28 PM |
