Just went there to see and not fish as I was on my way back from Ipoh to KL.

Decent bite rates but not too many people. It’s damn far though.

if u know the staff there , which most of them are previously from rawang anyway. u can curi curi use lure. throw nd cast a 40gm spoon and let it spin. syiokkkkk lorrrrr

i ask the boss if i can try out my daiwa tanacom there next time also. he say ok liao.

Was there again yesterday.bite was rather slow compare the prvious trip. Most of the action starts 2am lol total landed 3asian red tail 3amazon. Line putus 1time and sangkut pump twice

What is your set up?
If i go using this can ka?

6” solid rod
3000/4000 reel with 30LBS braided(chapalang China braid)
50LBS mono leader & 30LBS steel leader(is this even allowed?)

Bole ka?

Rod length 6”6
Rod rating 12-20lb
Reel 3000
Braided line 30lbs & 50lbs (i have 2spool)
I believe china or whatever line is good,as long as its not too long seasoned
60lbs mono for fg knot
As for the rigs i used size #14 kevlar which is bout 120lbs

Btw do they really check on the whether the hooks are debarbed? Quite lazy to remove all the barbs on the hooks..

Nope.they dont check at all.don debarbed pls or else we’ll have no field reports. xD

Good experience from exotic today.

Caught mostly normal non red tail catfish and a Mekong which almost landed (knn unker didn't net properly)
