Minor compare to those more hardcore one....like running FMIC, bigger turbo, standalone management, side exit exhaust, 265 fat tires, my factory here a lot of 4x4 modders....all very monstrous and fast....mine is small fry compare to them....I'm only boosting up the stock turbo to it's limit....RHF4 turbo only...good respond at low to mid end....so I'm only pushing 158ps at 3700RPM and 364Nm and 2600RPM.....when I gib full throttle behind me is all black cloud only.....Hahahahaha

I wanted to source for a more powerful engine from the Nissan Pathfinder R51...also 2.5Liter Diesel it's Common rail injection with variable nozzle turbo better than the VP44 pump type....pushing close to 200ps @ 3800rpm and 450Nm at 2000rpm..with that amount of torque...fui......I go genting like eat kacang only...

Crazy...cannot la....it's more for drag and going up cameron or genting....cameron there I met a lot of these monster truck that's why I go cameron I don't drive NA car....diesel turbo FTW.....

Speedfest track very small and pickup is big, longwheel base and FR....not easy to control...I have a few times caught off guard on touge with my frontier...rear lost traction when I reach full boost on a wet road...lucky can recover if not...

But honestly speaking from my experience having the frontier and now the Triton....

Comparing throttle respond, the frontier totally wins the Triton....I found out the Triton using DBW....so damn lag...compare to the frontier's cat like throttle respond....I start to hate the laggy throttle...even my saga have better throttle respond than the Triton...

Boost...the boost comes quite late for a diesel pickup around 3000rpm only can feel the surge of the turbo...as with Frontier...it was instant where you can feel the boost surging forward....all the way until 4000rpm...

gearshift....Frontier gearshift is much engaging while the Triton a bit saggy feel.....

Heel n Toe, Frontier sapu this over Triton....triton mia pedals....like tahi.....

Design & Confort, Triton looks more fierce and modern compare to Frontier and has wider interior....Frontier itself is more of a utility vehicle...it don't offer much comfort or high tech stuff in the Triton (triton) have this MID screen on the center console....but the seats on Triton is not nice...I sit long hours my butt cheek hurts a lot...

Handling...Frontier sits lower than the Triton so it handles better...I've also change my absorber to Gabriel Ultra on the frontier so it handles much nicer then stock...

Overall, Frontier is all about mechanical awesomeness....everything is mechanical and all the essentials you need for a tough and reliable workhorse...no fancy exterior or high tech stuff inside the cabin....Triton is like a gadget savvy guy....

You using straight flow now or still with stock exhaust? Recommend you change to 4-2-1, replace mid box and a high flow s-flow muffler.

quazacolt about the throttle lag in the triton. My Grandis throttle respond is instantaneous and can't feel any lag be it light throttle or pedal to metal. Jut the invecs2 gearbox TCU got delay in shifting if I stomp the pedal. The Grandis throttle respond is very nice n straight forward although its DBW

Why go to such huge JJ and +26 offset....you don't know now JPJ very hardworking catching such cars with such rims setting? and what's the purpose for have more 9JJ. I know it's the stance thing but function is more important than looks. Such wide JJ rim if you gonna stretch the tires and its not good and it makes the tire side wall weak. Then when you drive on road if lowered kao kao with such rims you gonna be crawling like a worm when you see bumps, a little bit uneven waving roads you gonna hit the brakes hard and it looks silly to me...my factory area here got quite a bunch of these stance car here....and always causing cars behind to stop and wait for them to slowly go over bumps or uneven roads....

It's just my opinion....still up to your choice and your money....but for me 7JJ is the max you should go for a gaga...but with 7JJ you need to have adjustable on hard setting and roll your fenders out to avoid scrapping your tires...best is still 6.5J

I have no preference for fuel...as long the station is always full with cars...I will go to those station....more fresh fuel...and for diesel, I go to those where a lot of trucks and buses goes....

I've run V-power and Primax 97, both feels about the same to me.....currently on Primax 97 for the gaga....previous tank 2 tanks was V-power but I also sometimes mix in 95 into the tank....Limpeh no give F....Hahahaha

My car setting, done....just need to wash car on SAT maybe these few days go home at night start to do weight stripping the car.

I got try 6 tanks Primax 95 also....but I cannot feel anything....maybe me not sensitive enough....

But honestly speaking to all gaga owners, I used to be a guy who use additional additives for fuel things like Afterburn or Redline..etc...but over the years I also learn and experience...prolong used of these additives makes your car like drug addict one....I did it on purpose and don't give any additives to the car after refueling....the car performance and feel like no drug given....wanna die die like that....so now I don't give any additives to me cars. Be it for injector cleaning or clean fuel line or pump...etc...because best way to clean injector is via ultra sound cleaning or drive like you tole the car once every 2 weeks....or like me, like to go short full throttle burst on a daily basis. I usually do this every night when on my way back home when there's no car....just do some 2nd and 3rd gear full blast for say 1KM or 2KM on the straight....car is like human, need to exercise daily to keep fit...

Last week, I went do oil change only use 2800KM....use same oil Torco 10-40 with HKS Hybrid Oil Filter....not because rich fag because I drive my car hard and wen to track before so not taking any chances...

I only change filter on 2nd oil change. 1st only change oil..

I change my oil filter depends on my driving...but I regularly change them on each service unless for that period I drive very light footed then change at 2nd oil change.

To me oil filter won't improve performance or add Hp. It's more towards oil flow control. It how the inside the oil filter is design. What I would look if want to find the difference is the oil pressure and oil flow rate through the oil filter.

As for engine oil, our oci indication is actually a reference point only not totally 100% accurate because oil life span depends entirely how you drive...and a lot of ppl thought keeping their car idling at long time and the odometer not running means the engine oil not use. Don't laugh, I have met with such ppl before. That's why I don't let my engine idle long time when waiting for ppl. I just off engine and wait.

For what engine oil to use, is personal preference la as long you use the certify oil and that suits ur engine what brand also can.
