Got lost a little bit finding 3Max factory but found it anyway...I took a walk in their factory....don't look like some high tech factory but the stuff they made are good stuff because can see some stuff they finish and put there nice quality. Met with the PIC and exchange the item on behalf of Mahihi....buy me some treats from Penang Mahihi...Hahahahahaha...The PIC was friendly too....ask about my car and when is the race...she mention we were the 1st batch and feel so happy.....I told her will test the bar on coming race.... QUOTE(calvin_kenni @ Dec 21 2013, 10:11 AM) a dummy question here.. You mean rev match, heel n toe izit? double clutching is mostly those bus or truck drivers do when hard to engage gear...due to unsynchronized manual transmission.....cars now all have syncros on MT....when double declutching.. how do u all decide how much to match rev before sticking it down? say from 5th to 4th 4th to 3rd 3rd to 2nd?? any range for each? aku ni tak pandai hear the enjin sound It's hard for me to explain how much the RPM to hit before you release the clutch.....rev match is done mostly when you down shift and don't want the car to jerk forward so much due to the change in gear and to help you stay within the power band smoothly.....and reduce the wear and tear on the transmission. All I can say is practice makes perfect.... This post has been edited by TitanRev: Dec 21 2013, 10:23 AM |

QUOTE(calvin_kenni @ Dec 21 2013, 11:43 AM) I meant double DEclutching, means it's sth like heel toe without the brake component lol.. Me wanna focus playing with the clutch first before doing that heel toe haha.. Ermmm...from 5-4 rev range no need much since 5-4 the rpm change is not big. Just a slight tap on the throttle will do, say current rpm +1000 to 1500 rpm O.. Coz i found the "getting car to be smooth by rev match" is too subjective.. Coz i dunno til what rpm to rev baru smooth.. Thought wanna give some rpm range for me as a reference point first before adjusting to shift without looking at the tachometer.. 4-3 I will roughly give more throttle, current rpm + 2500 rpm 3-2 this one you need to becareful and will need to rev higher as gear ratio on 2 is taller for me I always bring my rpm up too 5000 to 5500 rpm. If your rev range is wrong the tire will lock up for a while...this always happens regardless FR or FF. FR more dangerous because if ur real wheel lock your tail will start sliding out. My 2 cent |

Finally finish install the 3max ARB 19mm haven't fully test yet...will see how it perform after road test...anyway those who using spring at the spring seat you need to remove your spring so not recommend to DIY unless u using HWL adjustable like mine which don't use the spring seat anymore then install will be much easy. Fitting on the bar and the bracket on torsion beam was easy. bracket at spring cup there my right side needed to grind a bit the triangle plate because was touching the lower spring seat only the right one have this problem left side fit straight on without any problem. Taking out the UR "ARB" was going smooth until 1 screw the Allen head loose, damn difficult to take out so weld a nut on top of the Allen screw and use another spanar to loosen the nut.
Wanted to I install my LCP DIY but time was getting late so send car to my usual shop for them to do...then go there kepoh other cars...saw a civic EG with K20A engine from DC5 nice car....Evo 9 with Tomei renesis complete engine pushing 500whp with dog box. After fitted the LCP engine respond is quicker this mean u jab the throttle a bit you can hear the engine rev already. Before this rpm before 2000 the car felt a bit slow but now the rpm goes up quite fast before 2000 rpm and it climbs all the way up quicker. Engine was still smooth like stock and no vibration as the pulley is porperly balanced (I check with my own machining machine) will continue to notice further |

Thanks for the info......You, because the Banggalah got no license, so you cant sue him under any traffic law You, because the bike belongs to a dead person, you cant sue a dead person You, because the person is dead, so insurance not legit. You can't sue the 3rd party insurance You, because you have no interest party, you got no 1 to sue, your car consider own damage You, because your car own damage, so you lose NCD next year TitanRev this is what ayam talking about BTW, 3max ARB highly recommended to everyone..... mahihi thank you.... |

Yesterday tested the ARB again same turn same speed....
Before.... entry speed 90 turn degree 180 Technique Out-in-Out Result: Rear tire was screeching nearing the corner apex and following exit of the apex. I can't give full power early because I need to bring the car back to it's grip at the rear. Front was fine but due to the rear my car exit line was a bit unsettle... After..... entry speed 95 turn degree 180 Technique Out-in-Out Result: The rear tire only screech very minor and stop. The rear ARB was able to hold the inner tire from lifting too much and loosing grip. I can apply full power earlier at exit and my line was cleaner and smoother. If I add in camber to the front I can have even higher entry & exit speed. This will allow me to push the rear ARB to work harder. On the LCP, I'm starting to feel the car much better now at low RPM....launches off from standing still is quicker and RPM drop was a bit faster compare to before so this prompt me to do shifting more quicker to avoid too much RPM drop.....heel and toe need to adjust a bit since now the RPM goes up faster when I blip the throttle to engage heel and toe....but again the stock RPM meter is further useless now because it can't keep up with my shift and throttle blip....Now the stock RPM meter is just only for reference and will certainly be needing a digital RPM meter....
