in order to climb faster u will remain higher rev mostly which result in hotter
since is uphill the force to climb is greater hence end up getting hotter than cooling speed
just my thinking only  laugh.gif

anyway i race once b4 up genting road where the navara end up overheating his turbo b4 gaga gearbox overheat  thumbup.gif

Simply put...more load to the engine and gearbox.....

guys about flx stock spring , mine already change to proride blm sport spring which is harder than stock blm spring ..
as far as i know flx spring oso harder than blm spring so right now changing to proride sport spring contribute nothing on handling compare to flx spring? just for cosmetic lower look or the lowered center of gravity itself can make my flx handles better? so far i think proride spring on my flx feel soft as stock flx before this ...sumore now im using 15 inch rim compare to 13inch steel rim before..i do feel rear side same soft like before..but front not cos abs koyaked i think..kepish2, kriekk2 sound got ady..
*
Actually changing to sport spring won't improve your handling very much....want to upgrade handling and can feel it tremendously you need to go for coil overs.

silverstone a big NO! almost cost me an accident brand new tyre somemore when i change from hankook on my weekend car  mad.gif
mine no cooler yet no issue, where the turbo with intercooler overheat..  whistling.gif
SUPERCHARGE or TURBO Charged saw it at mudah
both also will not think about it  doh.gif

below is what i got in mind
- increase stability of the car ( bar / shock / spring ) still researching what to do
- increase engine smoothness ( plug / filter / exhaust ) still researching what to do
*
Stability of car....you can refer to the otai here you want all out handling? or 50/50.....for engine also can refer here but need to be specific like what you want to achieve and your target but be reasonable on your target. It will be best to join TT so that you can see how the cars are setup...

QUOTE(THE CLASS OF 13 @ Jan 3 2014, 02:16 PM)
so adjustable is better choice for handling right sifu?
2014 start funding for adjustable..hehe

btw thanks brah
*
For me yes. Take example:
You change to sport spring but not satisfy then you will ask for sport absorber. After that maybe better but you not satisfy again then you will think about adjustable but you have spent your money on sport spring and absorber why not save up more and one shot drop in the best. Also you no need to pay so many time for labour to open, fix, open, fix your suspension...those also money...1st you need to really know what you really want...all out handling then don't complain no comfort...want comfort then handling won't be top...

Find a way to improve Aichi Pockai shifting feel whistling.gif

Any ideas? icon_question.gif

This one you need to ask the blm owners here since I'm using flx mt my shifter feel is different from them. You mean firmer and tighter shifting feel?

Mylesauto, better handling is quite general but if that's ur preference maybe a sport absorber and spring kit with soft hard adjustment will be enough fr you. Last time my 206 Koni absorbers can set harder or softer but not high low. I was running Eibach spring before changing to Blistein.
Do join Tt if u can, these guys here can give you valuable information as I also learn from them.

As for better low end, a s-flow muffler, midbox change will give you some improvements. Couple that to a drop in air filter. Also port polish your throttle body will aid in air flow also. LCP will also help free up from horses at the lower end...these engine mods won't cost you an arm and leg. It's also consider a balance light tune couple to the suspension kit...key point is balance...

hmm.gif  But most modern FWD are designed to understeer instead of oversteer which is easier to control than having the car to oversteer.

Most of the time I'm losing lots of grip at the rear. So, did oversteer once, but sendiri ask for it one haha!
Just felt the same la cars not much grip at corners, maybe understeering a lot like you.

Somehow just feel the tyre is not keeping the car on the ground.
*
Want to reduce understerr pump more air in the front tires and/or release some air from the rear tires...when your tire flex too much you understeer because your tire is rolling on its sidewalls instead if the thread area.

Yes sifu. Will do. But saga mia factory recommendations memang Front 31psi and Rear 28 psi,
Usually I just pump 32 Psi Front and rear 29psi.

So far BLM, I didnt experience understeer, just oversteer. Especially shouldnt jam brakes when cornering LOL!
*
That one is weight transfer too much to the front and the rear is light...

QUOTE(MylesAuto @ Jan 3 2014, 03:09 PM)
i first time heard can set soft hard but not high low. definitely will look into that.
extractor + midbox + s-flow muffler will give even better result ?
LCP i heard is might damage the crank unless is LCP with harmonic dampener, which i have no idea what are those.... rclxub.gif
*
extractor you don't change 1st....just the midbox and muffler 1st....

LCP only Mythology or WORKS other's I don't know....harmonic damper is a pic of rubber inserted into the crank pulley to absorb vibration due to the movement of the crankshaft if the LCP is balanced then it won't causes any problem. I'm using WORKS now....after install I didn't feel any vibration thorough out the rev range. but LCP I last only put...

I forgot to mention, tire profile also will affect tire flex...higher the profile more tire flex...lower profile less tire flex...

mine 31 front rear 30

My gaga...normal use 33F 32R

2JayZ that pressure from Proton, please see what tire they suggest...usually if u see the sticker they will have what tire size recommended pressure....recommended only not must follow....

When you change your tire size and width...it's up to driver to choose....like my Lexus....factory recommend 35 all round
