QUOTE(Axel95 @ Mar 26 2015, 05:13 AM) disabling tap to click means u have to actually click to click and if you recall from the traditional trackpads, when u click it, u feel the trackpad clicking giving u that feedback. with the new force trackpad, if u disable tap to click, u will feel the feedback when u click. you will still feel the feedback when clicking(instead of gentle tapping) the trackpad. honestly, it won't need much adaptation. which is what impressed me the most. Ah~ I see. I get what you mean now. What I mean I'm used to is the tap to click and 3 fingers drag I just got mine y'day and when setting up, I figured out that I missed these two features the most and I have to google since they moved the 3 fingers drag to accessibility instead. I do feel the feedback when I pressure press the trackpad, but for me I find it like the previously trackpad only that it was a full trackpad that allow you to click now than only corner with the previous gen.

QUOTE(babyk @ Mar 25 2015, 05:22 PM) Do you have soda water stain on the keyboard? or you accidentally spill soda water eg. Coke, Pepsi? You can easily clean the keyboard by your own. Nope. No water spillage on the keyboard. Its more of a mechanical problem I think.

Best is to get those ATX tower for gaming. Don't even get a gaming laptop unless you're renting a room or have space constraints in your house.

Im interested on getting a latest version of MBP retina, however this statement on RAM/memory category caught my attention
" Please note that the memory is built into the computer, so if you think you may need more memory in the future, it is important to upgrade at the time of purchase."
Wonder the RAM is not exchangeable?

Wonder the RAM is not exchangeable? Yes, the ram is soldered to the board therefore it's not possible to be upgraded / exchanged. "The RAM is soldered to the logic board. Pay for the upgrade now, or be stuck with 8 GB forever. There is no chance of upgrade." - quoted from iFixit

Wonder the RAM is not exchangeable? the rMBP lost the ability to have upgradable memory - I love my cMBP (2010) - you could swap the hard disk out and the memory out My recommendation since it is soldered and if you are going to use it for a long-time and it is your primary machine , upgrade to 16GB , if you have a powerful desktop computer or another computer , stick with 8GB

In anyway, if you're gonna use it as your primary machine and stick with it for a least couple of years, why not just push for the upgrade altogether. Furthermore, it's using latest 1866MHz ram The new PCIe SSD indeed blazing fast. It was way faster than my late 2012 rMBP.

thx for vearn27 and prasys clarification, now i get it . I'm a MBP 2012 user currently, had upgraded ram to 16gb and bootcamp a win8 for some programming. Gona pass this mbp for family later. With the budget, Im struggling to upgrade the ram or storage in purchase new MBPr. Anyone has experience in bootcamp from external hdd? How is the performance?
