Apple cannot include GST into their price. Part of the GST requirement is that product must be shown in retail price and the chargeable GST separately. Therefore, I think Apple product prices will increase further.

Now i'm in dilemma even lol..

1. rMBP mid 2014 I could get new at 41xx (Pro: Better Performance, more ports, Con: Heavier?)
2. New Macbook - 43xx (Pro: Portablity, Trendy Design; Con: Poorer Permance, 1 port?)

Skipped MBA, because not retina.

main usage would be: web design / lightroom, light photoshop, internet, movie, less gaming.

any can advise? .hmmm..

Just go for the rMBP. The new MacBook not enough power for heavy work. Since rMBP is cheaper than the new MacBook.

With the launch of rMBP 2015, do you think 2014 is worth getting esp if there is a price drop?

Definitely the rMBP. New Macbook looks like more to surfing internet only, not doing heavy stuff

I've used lightroom on older Core M based Windows laptops and it was painful. I doubt the new MacBook is that much better. Unless you're a fashion blogger posting on facebook all day from Starbucks, I suggest you get the rMBP.
