Any advice? got link for any 2nd hand macs , post em here and i can advise QUOTE(Townshend @ Mar 7 2015, 10:58 PM) First things first, make sure you can turn it on. Then, check the physical condition, battery, trackpad, keyboard, USB ports, DVD drive, and make sure the owner have removed his/her Apple ID from the Mac. Good read: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/tips-and-checks...a-used-macbook/I'll write a guide on how to purchase 2nd hand macs anyway some time tomorrow or this week

QUOTE(vaie @ Mar 8 2015, 06:49 PM) read some of the posts about getting cheaper mBPR. is it a new one or used? can someone enlighten me pls You can get a used/refurbished/ex-demo unit. Also you can buy a new unit at a slightly cheaper price through Apple's Education Store. If you're lucky, maybe you can find someone who sells a new unit at a slightly cheaper price too.

Luckily the differences of rMBP are not that big compared to A1502 rMBP or else I will be very sad since I got it on Feb.

Some of the updated MBPr have a link to buy it now with shipping in mid April. If I were to order it just before the 1st of April, do I still need to pay for the GST?

It shows pending regulatory approval. Does that mean they are waiting for gst to factor in?
