good evening guys
first off, i'm really sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section basically looking for a recommendation between the 2015 13" rMBPr vs 2014 15" rMBpr the 13" would be the maxed out model : 3.1GHz dc 17 and 16gb 1866 ram whereas the 15" would be the base model : 2.2GHz qc 17 and 16gb 1600 ram definitely getting it before april due to gst pls pls advice im really planning to use this piece for the longest time i can thank you guys so very much edited : usage = IT student so a lot of programming; Java, Python, VS etc. = lots of presentation (Prezi) , = designing models for 3d printing = normal everyday tasks , = not sure but I just have the feeling that I will be doing lots of image editing soon and last but not least = no gaming This post has been edited by persona93: Mar 15 2015, 10:33 AM |

QUOTE(persona93 @ Mar 14 2015, 11:32 PM) good evening guys Suggest 13 since it's just renew spec, easy carry & you can buy a external thunderbolt display in future if you need big screen, but if you can wait til next upgrade 15 maybe mid 2015. That's would be a good choice but gst..first off, i'm really sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section basically looking for a recommendation between the 2015 13" rMBPr vs 2014 15" rMBpr the 13" would be the maxed out model : 3.1GHz dc 17 and 16gb 1866 ram whereas the 15" would be the base model : 2.2GHz qc 17 and 16gb 1600 ram definitely getting it before april due to gst pls pls advice im really planning to use this piece for the longest time i can thank you guys so very much edited : usage = IT student so a lot of programming; Java, Python, VS etc. = lots of presentation (Prezi) , = designing models for 3d printing = normal everyday tasks , = not sure but I just have the feeling that I will be doing lots of image editing soon and last but not least = no gaming |

The price will well over be 7k |

If it is the lowest spec, the price is RM400 difference compared to the latest model and it will be around RM700 difference after April 1st. In my opinion, it is still a good buy. BTW, I went to the shop in UIAM and the salesgirl said that even the old model will cost the same as the new one. Which shop that you went to? |

Stop touching the screen and caution other people from touching your screen. When all else fails, have a cloth nearby to clean it. |
