good evening guys

first off, i'm really sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section

basically looking for a recommendation between the 2015 13" rMBPr vs 2014 15" rMBpr

the 13" would be the maxed out model : 3.1GHz dc 17 and 16gb 1866 ram

whereas the 15" would be the base model : 2.2GHz qc 17 and 16gb 1600 ram

definitely getting it before april due to gst

pls pls advice

im really planning to use this piece for the longest time i can biggrin.gif

thank you guys so very much

edited : usage = IT student so a lot of programming; Java, Python, VS etc.
= lots of presentation (Prezi) ,
= designing models for 3d printing
= normal everyday tasks ,
= not sure but I just have the feeling that I will be doing lots of image editing soon and last but not least
= no gaming

if you can afford the 15", by all means go ahead.
you'll appreciate working with a biggest screen, especially when you're doing photo editing.
for me, i'm only using my 15" rMBP for browsing but no regrets in spending on it, the experience using it is great

Suggest 13 since it's just renew spec, easy carry & you can buy a external thunderbolt display in future if you need big screen, but if you can wait til next upgrade 15 maybe mid 2015. That's would be a good choice but gst..

I was thinking the same too, but overall how would the 13" fare against the 15" and vice versa. No way ill purchase the 15" when gst is here. The price will well over be 7k

What is the specs? If it is the lowest spec, the price is RM400 difference compared to the latest model and it will be around RM700 difference after April 1st. In my opinion, it is still a good buy. BTW, I went to the shop in UIAM and the salesgirl said that even the old model will cost the same as the new one. Which shop that you went to?

Bro, that machines rm3999 is not the latest refreshed model.. The latest model not out until April... So yea, machines can't be selling more than rm3999 for that old model

Naked is best. Stop touching the screen and caution other people from touching your screen. When all else fails, have a cloth nearby to clean it.
