After ran audyssey calibration, the crossover was set to 40Hz which doesn't match to my speaker

So what front speaker you bought after gave up DZ 7?

Well auto calibration can be off for many reasons as mostly the room environment is the cause. Anyway, is ok to set the crossover manually as long as you know what
your equipment can handle.

YPAO, audyssey, mcacc, and pretty much all auto-EQ except DIRAC and ARC would set your mains to "Large" or set its xover to 40hz, 8/10 times.

80hz is recommended because that's the sweetspot between not being able to localize the sub and the AVR wouldn't be drained to its knees for power. Doesn't meant that speakers can go down to 30hz, the xover can be at 40hz. Need to look at the steep roll-off points too, which is usually 20-30hz above the tuning point.

AFAIK, most people also have their speakers close to the back or side walls, having too low of a xover would reinforce the mid-bass too much and could cause muddiness in the overall sound.

i find crossover 80hz is too high as the voice lose its weight for mixed music / movie usage.
60hz for me, or independent group for front-center-surround is prefered.

enable thx mode the roll off point act differently (less steep... more blend with sub) compared to normal mode. thats what make the cinema feel voice tone.

Usually they will display their flagship product right? Not sure if they got offering for entry level.

Usually the lower floors will have some thing like warehouse sale

Usually both ranges will be showcase and maybe some older models with higher discount and whereas newer models usually with very little discount especially for flagship models but it would also depends on what brands or items you are looking for.

You looking for other gears beside DZ 7?

Front speaker no choice have to go for DZ cause current center and surround are DZ. Might consider sub and avr if higher offer

I see... what front speaker you have now and so you already bought DZ for cc and sr earlier?

What sub or avr you are considering now? If Svs sub only standard discount apply and usually no better discount even at the show. For avr should have better discount especially for entry level but depending on what model you looking for.

Using Pioneer SM800 floors stand but not that impressive. Was looking at Velodyne sub. What avr you recommend for DZ speaker?
