No offense but please, when you ask for speaker advise: LIST the model number instead of its design.

With the info you provided, you basically told everyone that no other center speaker will match because people can only guess what you currently have.

Yes you can but if is not match than the sound will be off

You want to match with your front LR speakers, not with your AVR.

From the 3, none of them matches with your Pioneer speakers in tonality.

Whether it would sound weird or bad or heck, even good, that's up to your ears to decide.

If you're at a point where you have nothing to lose anyways, then go get either one of the listed centers and hope for the best. If it sounds bad, then plan to upgrade the front LR with matching (or at least as close as possible) sets.

Can I use back my 7 year old Pioneer home therter speakers (last time bought it around RM1700) and just buy a new AVR (maybe Yamaha RX-V379) with those speakers?

No la..  My pioneer is not a receiver

It is a home theater comes with DVD player. Not sure what it is called. Those thousand plus can get 5.1 home theater system...

Yes, it's quite a lot of reading but worth it because the center channel is by far the most important channel in a multi-channel setup.

The satellite speakers is 100W wor..  Sub woofer I dunno, need to check..

audyssey can do if the difference is not big to begin with, like mine mixed front-center has eq compensation result less than 3.5db
as i told, can use. dont over loud. need active sub

Need your guidance. I'm setting up a new home theatre room in my new house. Plan to setup for 7.1 speakers system. The room size is 20ft (L) x 9.5ft (W) x 9ft (H).

I have an existing AVR ONKYO TX-NR616 which is 7.2 ready

What is your recommendation if I allow a budget of 3k-5k for whole new set of speakers and sub-woofer?

Any shops to recommend too? KL/Selangor area.
