Square room is the least ideal for surround sound. Anyway, will recommend for Yamaha Avantage series. KEF are you looking for bookshelf or floor stander ?

Paskal,
Sub F3 30hz
plate amp is mounted externally so as to maximize the internal volume, hence smaller looking box for more aesthetic looks. Volume about 70litre with bracing. Panels are sandwich
never did like the idea of having plate amp together as its juz bad for electronics..too much resonance
Unless the plate amp has a separate chamber in d box . But then it would take up a lot of space, hence very big box

dear sifus......i'm having this HT system in mind.....appreciate feedbacks and comments

Screen: 106" Grandview tab-tension
Projector: Sony VPL-55
Source: Oppo 105D
AV Amp: Onkyo TR-737
Front: KEF Q300
Rear: KEF Q100
Center: KEF Q200c
Sub: KEF Q400

cables are entry levels that just meets certain standards like HDMI 1.4 high speed
speaker cables are entry copper ofc

am not a real HT snub per se but would like a system that is separated from my audio

is the above setup ok???
is it necessary to go 2 x subs???

Yup,

Should be fine .. if u like de KEF sound..

Sony 55 is nice - but there is a cheaper model..

I'd change de Sub.. maybe a SvS or Rythmik sealed..
Start with one - if indeed you find it insufficient can then add anthr..
