ypao phase test or manual phase test.
manual phase test should let u compare a single front channel to match with the rest (normal).

front speaker louder = incorrect ypao mic position. adjust the height taller or shorter

depend how u play song & movie from ori bluray or download /stream one.
tv box, media player also need to support dolby/dts thru hdmi port as minimum.
else ur center have no sound in many cases.

when u position correctly, symmetric between left-right, balance height, seats direction. u able gain a solid center sound without center channel.

how to choose spk. bring own song and test. use the song u dislike the most.
if the spk is ok type. u will heard amazing feeling from that song

receiver setting. since u place them side by side.
mcacc should adjust manually to same distance & db

a trick is wire surround set backward. black swap red and red swap black. so they wont conflict direction with front set

regular drama & stereo content use PL II music mode.
this mode speciality is u can fine tune center focus & surround focus separately.
almost achieve 5.1 feel where each speaker have own direction.
PL II MOVIE cannot. PL II GAME cannot


only surround codec like a dolby true hd & dts master use straight mode
vsx520 good enough to play around
