If 2.0 and a possible further addition with center speaker?

Hey guys, does the video/audio quality differ much if I connect my TV to my AV receiver via HDMI ARC?

My priority is quality > convenience.

the cheaper the better since this is meant to be portable / outdoors so likely prone to weather or dropping

but for a main HT / AV room, if I install a glass cabinet directly opposite the screen (back of the room) with 7.2.2 setup , any requirements to watch out for ? Only thing I can think off is vibration, so glass needs to be secure

Hi sifu, what is the actual room temperature good for HT system, especially speakers. My system use to have air condition ON during day time but lately want to save on electricity bill so OFF air condition when i am not in the room n now room temperature around 29-32oc in the afternoon. Is it ok. But i will ON the air cond when i am using the systems.tq

You have to build a room within a room.

For the walls inside the room, I did it similar to this:

Difference is that I'm not using R13 fiberglass, but rather Rockwool 38kg/m3.

What I learned is that I shouldn't have used double 5/8" gypsum wall because it made the walls too stiff, especially for a small room (18' x 13' ft) which created too much room gain for the low frequency response.

ALWAYS use wood framing btw, never aluminum. Low frequency will vibrate the hell out of aluminum frames.

Hi to all sifu's here, anyone tried Triangle brand? More accurately BR03 or even better BR08?

They are quite respectable model for hifi. I've heard br03 for hifi consideration but oversea review saying they are good for HT as well. BR08 is the best value and performance for HT.

Style laser carry them if I'm not mistaken. Go and try to audition there.

is there any where that still sell a simple and cheap fm radio tuner?
prefer a unit with internal digital amp.

Hi. Need the sifu’s help here. Really a newbie in terms of HT. once bought a sony 5.1 many years ago which i stopped using after having problem with the dvd player. Then all the speakers not used. Threw it away after collecting dusts for 5 years.

Now, Want to buy a new system. Would like to ask your opinion which of my planned configuration is best for me for hometheatre mainly. I also use for listening music and ps5

1. Denon AVR 3700H + Kef LS50 meta. Since this is pricey, planning to add on centre speaker later with sub if needed. From reviews, this speaker is good enuf. This is where i’m hoping u guys can help me. 

2. Denon 3700H + Dali speakers.  Either Oberon 3 + Dali Vokal centre + svs sub 1000 pro or dali oberon 5 + vokal centre

3. Denon 3700h + B&W 606 s3 + B&W centre speaker and svs 1000 pro

Basically, i’m not sure if i should choose KEF, Dali or B&W. Budget for speakers is 7k.

Any suggestion and recommendation is really appreciated. Tq

There is no correct or wrong. Whichever you like is the best choice because you are buying for your listening, not others.

Even in recording studio, they adjust this equalize that to get the sound they think the best, but people but sound system that claimed to be the best reproduction of what in studio and purist would not even use equalizer.
