Hi Everyone,
I just get my car last Friday, After using for few days,i discover a weird problem. When i try to wind down the auto window at the driver seat continuously for 3 to 4 times (keep up and down),the auto window will stop functioning(no reaction when you press the switch again) for 1 to 2 minutes, then after 1 to 2 minutes,it work again, and if you repeat the up and down process for 3 to 4 times, again its stop functioning for another 1 to 2 minutes. I had called my SA about this problem and he told me that this is normal, is a safety features to keep the auto window motor from overheating, but I do not buy his full story because i cannot believe that just 3 or 4 times will overheat the motor. Before i go back to Toyota service centre, i come here to confirm first. Does your new Altis have the same problem? Thanks smile.gif |

Finally get a chance to view the latest model of 1.8 G.
But understanding the Reverse Camera does not come with the lines as attached pictures such as green, red lines as indicator.. Is it true for those already get their Altis recently? As the sales people claimed they still applying the same supplier in Thailand Attached thumbnail(s) |

Since you can see the tip of your bumper, you can already gauge the distance, the lines can be quite distracting actually. But understanding the Reverse Camera does not come with the lines as attached pictures such as green, red lines as indicator.. Its reverse camera got lines and it really helps. without these lines you can gauge straight line distance, but sidelines its really hard...just my 2 centsI had test drive honda accord..its reverse camera was awesome...its even bending the guide lines according to steering... QUOTE(Alexcsyan @ Nov 6 2014, 10:46 AM) hahahaa... What im trying to say is, without the lines, the reverse camera do not helping much...I'd rather use rear, side mirror only to do side parking..not even looking at the camera...Whilst if there's line, I don't even have to look at side mirror anymore...Tried it with Forte... I think, its better to have line than not.. |

QUOTE(aaronportnoy @ Nov 6 2014, 12:35 PM) if u exclude those tcs etc like the altis 2.0v, this 1.8g is actually more than enough... but, thinking of the safety of your beloved family, something should add in & not excluded it to cheat consumer like us rite? |
