i just noticed on the panel at the passenger door, that my unit is a ZF1...

i have a 2013 facelift CVT with the S+ button, isn't it a ZF2?

should i be worried that i might have a NIMH battery instead of the newer LI ION?
*
If you have S+ button, your car definitely comes with Li-Ion battery as NiMH battery can't churn out such power to be used in S+.

few times a year and its thousands..plus some service almost rm300 and wasting time when its obviously not necessary for our engine to service so often.
no reply i take that everyone besides those with turbo/sc goes for the scheduled maintenance?
*
Nope, not really. I don't have SC/Turbo also I don't go back to Honda. Rather pay slightly more for better oil and service attention outside than Honda. Most of these service centers are like factory robots, can't understand that different drivers have different requirements and driving style, hence oil/parts servicing has to be different too. And the paling benci part is that they always put the warranty on the table if we don't service from them...

You are correct, it is available, hidden among the settings...
Still won't set it though, need to default to Sports instead (which does not exist) biggrin.gif

Hey guys, would like to ask some questions.

Is this car suitable for long hour drive in term of comfortability and fuel efficiency? Average mileage 5000km per month

Thanks
*
For me, it is a no for both questions... tongue.gif
I got it just for its driveability, looks and plenty of aftermarket parts.

Averagely getting about 520km-540km.. Can't seem to drive normally for even 1 full tank XD
*
520km per tank, isn't that good fuel consumption?

how do you guys calculate per tank? from full tank to 1 bar or full tank to the fuel lights up? I tried to pump full tank from lights up to full, only ~RM60, less than 30liter. does that mean the remaining 3 bars is actually 10 liters of fuel?
*
QUOTE(yuvster @ Apr 23 2014, 03:33 PM)
I've heard that you can push the car up to 600+km if you want to.. So it's a battle of

Your willpower to save fuel
vs
Your car's willpower to go faster
I never win.
Also.. I calculate per tank based off of the roughly a bit more after the first click during refilling and until my refueling light turns on..
*
From the time the warning light appears, there are still roughly 15L of petrol in the tank, which can get you an additional 100km easily if you are light on your right foot. Myself and some folks have travelled some distance too when the Range is at zero, meaning we never really fully use up the capacity of the tank in the car. Furthermore, i fill up to the neck of the petrol tank as well, which means i do have additional fuel there.....

Distance traveled per tank is not an accurate mileage comparison as different people fuel up the tank differently. Check the Average Fuel Consumption figures in your Info meter, i find that relatively accurate especially when your tank is near empty. What I normally do, is that I will note the amount of petrol pumped when my tank is empty, usually about 37-42L, and also note the no of KMs travelled... and divide KM/Liters. This shows how much KMs that you have traveled for that amount that you have pumped, and it is very close with the Average Fuel Consumption that is being displayed in your car.

Not if you come from cars like proton

Hahaha.... a lot of folks when changing from Proton to a Jap car, have this issue. Even my sis-in-law have the same question, she actually drove the car for 1 year before realizing her mistake after asking me.

oh ya, one more question, any idea what sensor/led is that in the middle there?

Blue LED is for ambient lighting during driving, most new cars have them. The one with the holes are nothing, originally meant for bluetooth microphone, but our low spec CRZ does not come with it.

guys, what other engine oils are you using? I feel Honda oil not so good..if your driving like a grandma...yes its ok...but if u drive like ur racing its not that good...u can feel the car less responsive...Honda offer other oils for type r example...but its 10w 30. out there are other brands that offer good quality oil with same rating 0w20..such as mobil 1, petro Canada...anyone have tried this?
*
Using Torco SR-1 10W-30, just nice for me. 0W-20 is too light for my use, while Honda full synthetic is 5W-40, too heavy for my car (car bogs down). The Honda oil that have 10W-30 is a semi-syn blend, almost the same as Torco, but I'll still stick with Torco for now.

never noticed if they check my battery condition. need to check back my receipts.

i could have gotten a new replacement battery from them since it was ngam2 before 24 months but i was skeptical about jump starting a hybrid car so i just bought a new one since it is only RM 150
*
CRZ can be jump started, I did it on mine a few times when i go overseas. I jump start with my potato (SX4), and so far have not shortcircuited anything yet tongue.gif I think it is also mentioned in the CRZ manual on how to jump start the car (need to check).

Hello..

New owner CRZ or i call my car Lizzy... tongue.gif..just want some info..

I want to change my stock rim to new O.Z. Ultraleggera in Matt black colour , 8j x 17" offset 48. but im worried it will effect FC and handling.. anyone here using same size of rim... can u give me some tip or info before start to order this rim... thks.. smile.gif
*
Bigger = heavier rims, heavier tires, higher rolling resistance; but bigger contact patch (trade-off higher resistance), less tire wall flex during hard cornering.
In short, yes it will give better handling, but if you are those who are concerned on small FC changes, then stick to ori rims, as that is the best compromise the manufacturer can provide. As to how much the FC will drop, it all depends on your right foot.
I am running on 18" BTW, so 17" FC compromise is pretty small in my opinion. However, my rims are lightweight rims which helps tremendously on FC (among other things).
Cheers!

Just curious, did you get your car from a used-car dealer, or direct owner?
