cky6667 sold me a k750i, which he claimed that used for half year and came with FULL SET midland warranty.

When received and checked, the camera slider is not functioning, when slide it cannot direct on the camera.

2nd thing, when dealing with him, he said full set but when arrive no memory stick, then baru he said lost. And no data cable. What's the meaning of full set anyway, and it's a midland set.

3rd thing, the midland warranty card has been change to december 2005 using correction pen. and the actual month the handset was bought is september 2005. How I know it?? Coz my fren brought the phone to claim warranty about the camera function, they found out......

sad 2 heard that.... find the solution & settle the prob with him edy?

Now he said the handphone not his, so he dunno wah. some ppl trade to him n he didn't check.

But when he sold to me, he said is his own hp.... very confusing.....

You don't care whether it's his handphone or not. If he's the one who sells it to you, then he's the one who's responsible.

OK so the summary of problems here is:
1. Faulty camera function.
2. No data cable.
3. No MSPD.
4. No more warranty.

Threadstarter, why did you still pay for it when you know it doesn't come with the package you intended it to be and the condition is not as promised?

i think threadstarter need to bank in the money because it wasnt a COD session. so it was not threadstarter's fault at all. from the explanation it's so obivious that seller got something going on.

I did sms him about the warranty thing last night, and now he change the story.... first he sell me the phone he told me is his phone, and now he said it's traded by ppl to him. and he didn't check the phone before....nor use it.... but that is the strange part when I received the phone.. his sim card is in the phone.....

When I received the phone I did ask him about the MSPD, he said midland warranty doesn't came with MSPD, then asked again he said lost. Asked him also about the data cable, but he didn't reply.

In my observation, he always appeared in those threads selling freaking cheap handphones and claim that he has bought all the phones... However, those threads are being reported untrue... A recent one I remember was the "Sharmen Rao" thread. What's his intention? The only thing I could think of is that he is trying to lower the price of other sellers...

Anyway please come and explain yourself if not mod should add him to Tradezone blacklist...

we not means newbie is not trustable, the 1st impression for us is the "newbie" is like tat, from Trade Zone Dispute Resolution Corner we can see that 10 of the con case have 8 newbie involved... u have to prove u r trustable by urself... doing business not just selling stuff, u have to convince customer and make them satisfy, later u will get another business from them, tat call business... business doesnt create problem and trouble...

tat is ur problem between u and tat gal, tat gal not trustable doesnt means that u r trustable, get the means?
if she registered the hp number, i think will not difficult for u that u can trace her location since the government said tat all prepaid must register end of this year...

since u said full set, pls explain full set included what...
actually u have the responsible to check the hp's condition if the ppl sell hp to u before u resell to other ppl... dont think get cheap stuff is a good things, perhaps the ppl think that it have a lot of problem only sell it to any hp shop or any1... if it was not a full set, just tell honestly to customer, otherwise u will get the complain which is worst than u didnt sell it... u only able to sell it when customer accept that was not a full set, at least have the agreement between u and customer

You sell ppl a problem phone should ppl get some compensation???? besides I didn't use ur sim card neither, at least I told you about the sim card thing when I received ur phone. Ppl paid to buy your phone but you didn't mentioned clearly about the situation, a new MSPD also not cost RM30 only lah....

Me once sold a new AP w800i, customer come back after 2 days, complain that the set is recon set, me tried to explain to him, and ask why he say is recon. He said the phone always auto-off. Sei sohai the phone is auto powersafe, lcd will off until u press * ga ma! But me no talk to him like that la, me said to him, this is no recon set, the best me can do is refund the full price to him since he just use it 2 days only. But he wan me to compensate him for his wasted time and wan me change to w900 for him watafakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

Damm last 2 weeks i bought K750i, actually my fren buy 2 phone from the shop and only checked one unit..
I got the problem unit, the LCD when pressed will have some "pressed" effect..
So i ask my fren to return to shop to exchange 1 to 1 but the shop says need to wait until got stock..
Monday say friday got stock, then friday say Monday got stock, then Monday say friday got stock...
So fedup liao

i think tat shop got the stock but they find excuse to give u the new units... they prefer earn money rather than RMA for u... i think u can complain to the MCA's Consumer Claims Tribunal or help them do "advertisement" thru internet, like tat u can show ur "fierce" if they refuse to exchange

1st u can pretend to buy a new k750i, then when they show u one, baru u bring your friend with the broken k750i and ask the dealer change on the spot. Settle, always work for me.

IMO, all postages fees must be paid by cky6667, since it's his fault/mistake.

the sim card is not a problem to give him back actually, but seller should take responsibility for the item he sold and not to divert the topic to I "CON" his sim card.

you think of the MSPD only lah, 512MB for RM80. you count the total yourself lah, bought the k750i for RM650, plus MSPD, data cable n chargers for fixing the camera, it's almost equal to a new k750i already.

Already bought a 512MB MSPD and brought the phone for service...... how?

when they checked baru I knew the warranty got void, of course I need to do a report in lowyat.... becoz this is considered seller not being honest with the phone he sold....

cky6667 just sms me and say that the RM30 + the sim card RM39 is already enough for the lost I had.

i think he already report the sim lost that's y the sim is inactive. if not the sim should be active one....

if he didn't deactivate it, the sim card should be active. even maybe it's out of credit or passed the reload period but the line will still be active, just cannot call out. but strange.... when I put it in the phone just now, it's inactive sim......

Anyway, what does Sabahan want and what does hp seller want?

Just make it clear and resolve the matter. After 4 pages, it seems that Sabahan and hp seller keep on repeating the same story again and again.

Sabahan want the phone?; or
Sabahan want the phone but want hp seller to top up for repair cost?; or
Sabahan want the phone, top up for repair, memory stick and data cable?; or
Sabahan want a refund with costs of repair and postal?

And why Sabahan want to keep the sim card if its inactive already?
And why dont Sabahan just ask around in LYN on how much is the value of the card?
If its true that the card need top-up, as mentioned by the hp seller, then just flexi to up some credit and see whether it is still active or not.

And what the hp seller want in return of the sim card?
Is Sabahan holding the simcard as a "hostage" for something in return?

Does Sabahan want to return the phone for a refund or just keep the phone?
Does hp seller willing to provide Sabahan with the data cable and the memory stick for the return of the sim card?

Compesation - just state what she want and whether hp seller willing to fulfill or not.

i would really hope something can be done to the seller because he still using that simcard facts to turn everything around.

For more safety for each other, maybe we can find a intermediary that we trust in lyn. The buyer n seller can send hp n refund the money to the intermediary, then the intermediary help them send back the staff they want to... but the problem who want to be the intermediary.....

rm30 =mspd 64mb
rm39 inside the simcard =data cable
the vip num = repair...
