I'm not so sure SP500 or Nasdaq will hit all time high again anytime soon or can wait till May.
So, I'm playing this bounce short term and taking money off the table whenever there are profits. laugh.gif

GOOG got hit as well with less than expected earnings. So, I think there's the good opportunity here to trade.
Need to get some if it tanks tomorrow. laugh.gif

its all quiet at the market front.
not much surprises after yellen said of unemployment and inflation data thus hinting if continual support of US economy and holding the rates.
also weak dollar dies nit justify any drastic economic measures.

peace!

Hey, watch for Weibo (China version of Twitter/Facebook) IPO to start trading tonight. Ticker is WB.
Suppose to start at $17.

I'm going to play some short May Puts spread here... 520/510 level. I think 520 should hold by May expiration.

I took a small position after it opens.. in $18.50, out $20. Scalped $1.50 for a few hundred shares. sweat.gif
Good enough for the weekend. Got out from QQQ in cash for the long weekend as well.
No idea what's going to happen next week. But, staying in cash is good.

Also, got GOOG shorted 520/510 May puts.. that'll give me enough time to exit. I plan to exit the moment GOOG bounces back up to 540 or higher or stay the same as long as the premium melts off.

Per famous Trader's Almanac, ppls sell in month of May, as historical records
shown seasonal month of decline..
Sell in May and Go Away(click me)
Sell in May and Buy in October?? (click me)
[attachmentid=3931171]
May not applicable for investment(long term) plan, as investment is not a seasonal period/trend..

No wonder. But usually I thought seasonal month of decline is call the "buy" season, no - since it is cheap? hmm.gif

WB is very fast moving and volatile now. IMO, not for holding. But, good for trades. No options yet.
