Huh? u mean soundproof very bad? :S Should I modify this also after I get my car?^^

no matter how you modified also will be bad.. the soundproof design is as is.. WE already fed up.. some of the sound coming of no where rattling is the most irritating if you are a perfectionist like E tongue.gif Go test drive..

P/S: you may not have such opinions

OMG! seems very serious and annoying? Hmm....Im gonna use it for traveling sg and jb everyday at least 160km 5-7adult.

Currently not available for test drive, maybe after new year. The salesman told me that they are applying blablabla.

Exora Bold will be so much comfort for long travel distance.. (Big space, better interior built, good soundproof)

But exora drinks more petrol & town pick up is not as good (CVT & full mpv)

If you travel more with 5-7 adults, suggest you go for exora bold.. best value mpv

Alza will be 5+2 (the 2 is occasional, not frequent passenger).. it's a mini mpv, not full size.. last row not comfort for long distance

went to see alza. got a few questions based on owners experience...:
1) middle row looks narrow, can fit 3 adults comfortably?
2) how is the aircon in third row?
3) handling good when taking sharp corners?
4) what is the maintenance like? high?
5) overall quality? thin paint? thin tin? brakes okay? etc?
6) would you as owners recommend this car or not? given a choice would you buy alza again? and why?

thanks all smile.gif

Hi Chitwatt,

Just my few cents feedback.

1. My seating position (driver and front passenger) are considered quite to the rear. Since 3rd row seat are folded down, I maximised the 2nd row to the max. It is very wide and spacious.

2. it takes a while to cool it. The front vents, just shoot the air up the ceiling and it will cover the rear.

3. Handling - add in roll bars or change to a firmer absorbers (Proride). you can foam the chasis or add in ultra racing bars if want.

4. maintainance... depending on individual, for me, it is considered good. Since I am not going back to the SC, I just need to know where to get the items. :>

5. overall quality - I personally grade it 7/10. Can't asked for more with the price. I have personnally added few items to boost the ride. DIY soundproofing, foaming of A pillar and door sills, added better speakers and underseat woofer, etc etc..
I can drive this up and down genting...why not.

6. I have recommended few friends... even told them the truth and what items to look out for.

:>

went to exora bold tread to check out. exora may have alot of problems but forumers very enthusiastic and positive. they share , compare and improve. also get great recomendation to buy.

i have used only p2 cars all this while. even booked a new alza. the feedback that i get from this forum is quite negtive, making me think twice.

is it really that bad? the recent S-series didnt help? is it really cheap car cheap quality, unlike before? are all you owners really living hell with your alza? that bad?

actually it is ok... just that gang here especially Eithanius used to drive BMW/VW/Audi/Merz and compare them rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

But if given choices again, I wouldn't want to drive/own Exora either.. will still choose Alza tongue.gif
