Yup, their built is really solid, particularly the casing.

And their casing design is actually quite ergonomic compared to other squarish and edgy casing.

Anyone here can fix my friend's Razer Blackwidow Ultimate?
Problem is the key trigger randomly (all range F5, shift, numbers, characters, etc), all driver detect and the LED's working fine.

I don't get the problem, find further explain?

Cause if switches problem, normally is either not triggering or double triggered when pressed.

Your problem sounds like some driver issues to me.

Can you try it on other computer and do not install synapse driver on it? Wondering the result is..
Normally is from driver itself. Honestly said, razer driver software really bad quality mad.gif vmad.gif .
If still occur, you download software like autokey and disabled those keys that triggering.
If the triggering keys jump randomly to other keys, then let us know.

Please see this thread. Same as yours I think.
http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/123495...-keys-by-itself

p/s: Razer Mamba user here biggrin.gif Used many of the Razer products before..
Personally, I think Razer really rubbish if I stand on neutral sides.

Ur middle just put red. Since black and red feel similar except the heavier spring of black.
brown got tactile feel.. rclxms.gif
Recently see this idea very nice.
Or use green and blue. laugh.gif

You change ur Filco middle to tacto-blacks (MX brown with black spring). brows.gif

Middle put heavier because stronger finger area...the pinky needs lesser force to ease while pressing...maybe just black middle n red outside...the numbers n numpad use brown while F-row n modifiers use blue click click.... brows.gif

Then modifier use Clear, spacebar use Green and White on escape.
Seems like ducky78, all switches also got.

Murah and good enough. The case and PCB itself is pretty well built.

If want play with that much, better get PCB mounted board, easier to change the stem.

96 layout - PLUM 96
87 layout - Neo Zelia 87 (not too recommended)

Other all legacy items, EOL and hard to find already.

nice, noisy is exactly what i am looking for, but won't know if it's too loud to be acceptable til i actually test it.

QUOTE(antonio @ Dec 10 2013, 06:26 PM)
For me personally, my jump towards the mechanical keyboard bandwagon its primarily because I felt the tyyping experience was far more superior than a membrane keyboard feeling.

Prior of getting my own mech keyboard, I tested MX black and browns in the form of a SS 7G & 6G and also a Filco Ninja.... Both switches were nice and suits what I'm looking for...But the switch I really wanted was a red MX which is about as Rare as a Ducky shine 3 TKL now...back then only had SS, Ducky and Filco with either black , brown and clicky blues to toy around... I work as a writer and almost 80 A4s pages with font 9 size I need to type monthly...

So when I decided to pull the trigger, it was a Filco Pink Tenkeyless because 1) it is a tenkeyless and I don't need a numpad 24/7, secondly because it had white keycaps...' I wanted a red switch but it only comes in a limited edition Camo Red bla bla bla, which I didn't prefer...

Ducky was around but its fairly new and trying to get reviews on it like almost close to none. SS i didn't opted because of the braided cable and the hideous keycaps font... Filco looks and feels much better..mine was equipped with a MX brown switch.

For 3 years++ I type on a stock Filco TKL Brown, everything stock and no need to pull and plug back in ever...I was solid and was very dirty thanks to the white keycaps...

My advice is this; DON'T GO TO THE SHOP AND JUST PUT YOUR NASTY FINGERS ON THE KEYBOARD AND CLICKING RUBBISH, Period!

Go and ask for a proper demo, don;'t just click with 2 fingers and judge with your ears and eyes...Judge with your fingers because in the end your fingers do most of the work.

If you straight away click click on the demo or worse, the stock that is for sale, 1) you look noob n rude 2)its not your keyboard yet mang 3)shop keeper or assistant would be cursing you inside their head....

Ask nicely for a sitting demo and try to type naturally like you would on your table. Type away for like 5 minutes and try the next switch that your are interested.... Mechanical keyboards are basically the same, the only difference is maybe the keycaps, illuminated or not, goodies that comes in the package and the package itself. Most plate mounted feels the same most PCB mounted feels the same.

So again, select the switch then select how much you are willing to spend on your tools...

The so-called white filco actually is beige in color. Not pure white.

Plum 87 new mold (the battery can be changed without opening the case) and plate mounted.

Btw, the plum 87 is EOLed or soon eol, if want better act fast.
