Yup, their built is really solid, particularly the casing. And their casing design is actually quite ergonomic compared to other squarish and edgy casing.

QUOTE(yuka @ Dec 10 2013, 11:51 PM) Anyone here can fix my friend's Razer Blackwidow Ultimate? I don't get the problem, find further explain?Problem is the key trigger randomly (all range F5, shift, numbers, characters, etc), all driver detect and the LED's working fine. Cause if switches problem, normally is either not triggering or double triggered when pressed. Your problem sounds like some driver issues to me. QUOTE(yuka @ Dec 10 2013, 11:51 PM) Anyone here can fix my friend's Razer Blackwidow Ultimate? Can you try it on other computer and do not install synapse driver on it? Wondering the result is..Problem is the key trigger randomly (all range F5, shift, numbers, characters, etc), all driver detect and the LED's working fine. Normally is from driver itself. Honestly said, razer driver software really bad quality If still occur, you download software like autokey and disabled those keys that triggering. If the triggering keys jump randomly to other keys, then let us know. Please see this thread. Same as yours I think. http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/123495...-keys-by-itself p/s: Razer Mamba user here Personally, I think Razer really rubbish if I stand on neutral sides. QUOTE(antonio @ Dec 11 2013, 12:45 AM) I was thinking putting the blacks in the middle then brown then red for the pinky...top F-rows and Modifier sides all put blues... Ur middle just put red. Since black and red feel similar except the heavier spring of black.brown got tactile feel.. Recently see this idea very nice. Or use green and blue. You change ur Filco middle to tacto-blacks (MX brown with black spring). This post has been edited by quovadis123: Dec 11 2013, 12:51 AM |

Middle put heavier because stronger finger area...the pinky needs lesser force to ease while pressing...maybe just black middle n red outside...the numbers n numpad use brown while F-row n modifiers use blue click click.... brown got tactile feel.. QUOTE(Powet @ Dec 10 2013, 05:22 PM) I'm pretty rich in MKB knowledge today nice, noisy is exactly what i am looking for, but won't know if it's too loud to be acceptable til i actually test it.--- hooh888 I used to have same keyboard with you, AK300 QUOTE(antonio @ Dec 10 2013, 06:26 PM) For me personally, my jump towards the mechanical keyboard bandwagon its primarily because I felt the tyyping experience was far more superior than a membrane keyboard feeling. noted, thanks for your tips. Prior of getting my own mech keyboard, I tested MX black and browns in the form of a SS 7G & 6G and also a Filco Ninja.... Both switches were nice and suits what I'm looking for...But the switch I really wanted was a red MX which is about as Rare as a Ducky shine 3 TKL now...back then only had SS, Ducky and Filco with either black , brown and clicky blues to toy around... I work as a writer and almost 80 A4s pages with font 9 size I need to type monthly... So when I decided to pull the trigger, it was a Filco Pink Tenkeyless because 1) it is a tenkeyless and I don't need a numpad 24/7, secondly because it had white keycaps...' I wanted a red switch but it only comes in a limited edition Camo Red bla bla bla, which I didn't prefer... Ducky was around but its fairly new and trying to get reviews on it like almost close to none. SS i didn't opted because of the braided cable and the hideous keycaps font... Filco looks and feels much better..mine was equipped with a MX brown switch. For 3 years++ I type on a stock Filco TKL Brown, everything stock and no need to pull and plug back in ever...I was solid and was very dirty thanks to the white keycaps... My advice is this; DON'T GO TO THE SHOP AND JUST PUT YOUR NASTY FINGERS ON THE KEYBOARD AND CLICKING RUBBISH, Period! Go and ask for a proper demo, don;'t just click with 2 fingers and judge with your ears and eyes...Judge with your fingers because in the end your fingers do most of the work. If you straight away click click on the demo or worse, the stock that is for sale, 1) you look noob n rude 2)its not your keyboard yet mang 3)shop keeper or assistant would be cursing you inside their head.... Ask nicely for a sitting demo and try to type naturally like you would on your table. Type away for like 5 minutes and try the next switch that your are interested.... Mechanical keyboards are basically the same, the only difference is maybe the keycaps, illuminated or not, goodies that comes in the package and the package itself. Most plate mounted feels the same most PCB mounted feels the same. So again, select the switch then select how much you are willing to spend on your tools... |
