I bought 104 Filco Ninja! Now with Originative dolch keycaps ^___^

But I really wanted at that point in time - was a Tenkeyless white filco..

very expensive? agak2 how much for dolch? biggrin.gif
The so-called white filco actually is beige in color. Not pure white.

I paid roughly 90$+16$ SHIPPING = 106$ (USD). Pocket burnt. The reason I got into the mechanical keyboard hobby is because I fell in love with dolch pac/Dangwang's keyboards when I first aid my eyes on them. Things like novelty keycaps, modding, LEDs, Topre switches don't really interest me too much.

^_____^ Happy Keyboard collecting

Plate mounted keyboards makes your keyboard feel more solid, increases its weight and more stable to type on. The negatives of a plate mounted keyboard is it may have 'pinging' sounds.

Mechanical keyboards are gonna last a much longer time - compared to rubber domes. For me (excluding topre, IBM M model and other relics) its probably Filco followed by CM, not sure what comes next.

You should be more concerned with price, layout, mxswitch etc.

Yes, Razer focuses more on marketing so called gaming-features (most of which are completely unnecessary) to gamers, rather than making good solid products.

That said, I use a DA and it is awesome

Hi all sifu here.

I am using a CM Storm Quickfire Pro with MX Black for now and I feel its too heavy for my finger now.

I decided to get a new keyboard with red switch, small size like Poker 2 or TKL layout keyboards.

So, is Poker 2 a good keyboard for gaming? If not, any other keyboard to recommend me?

My budget is around RM300.

Thanks for help biggrin.gif

A 60% keyboard like Vortex Poker II will be hard to play certain games. A TKL will be better. Don't know which TKL keyboard to recommend though. hmm.gif

Is CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid a good choice?  hmm.gif

Since Filco with mx red is hardly can be found local. Or any other keyboard can recommend me?

Mechanical keyboards should be more popular in Malaysia so local stores could import more keyboards over here to have more choice for us  brows.gif

If you're willing to wait a while, Edifier (Fellow Lowyat User) has some MxReds in his next upcoming shipment. Got 2 options: 87 (TKL) and 104 (Full). The TKL one will cost less than RM400.
Feel free to contact him

I dream of a custom kb, but very out of budget.

Probably need to sell off my graphics card. Hahaha

Huh? This is rather confusing for me, I can't brain because of a statement "more aluminum the better". doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif
Custom still can be made into plastics. I guess what you like is aluminum case keyboard.

Yeah, should have worded it better.. I meant more metal in the keyboard would be better - e.g, case, plates, feet, etc etc
