Hi peeps ! I'm new into this MKB world.
Got my 1st MKB today.

One question though, the space-bar on my Ducky lags when pressed.
As though it didn't want to come up after being pressed. Is this normal? If not hw can I solve it?

Picture of the space-bar shown here :

normally the first thing we do is to keep calm, take out the spacebar, and reinsert it back properly.

Try remove the spacebar keycap and reseat it and see if it solve/improve it. Try it several times.

Even better, try to lube the stabilisers (but since yours are stucky to the extend of "lagging", i doubt it will help much).

The worse, RMA it.

Thanks for the simple yet elegant solution. I took it out, lubricated the two black stabilisers at the sides and for the time being it is fine !
Another question, is there any particular technique you use to pull out the space-bar? tq once again!

Remove the two adjacent ALT keys with keypuller first.

Later, use your both hands' fingers to lift from both sides evenly.

Haha... Fullsize ducky MX blue for standing Windows workstation use. With more keys, more shortcut keys.
TKL 87 for mac, daily use.
Still got 1 laptop, 24hours on with no mechanical keyboard. smile.gif
I only need 60% layout in future OR less than 60keys, if they have the 1 without numerical will be better.
Do anyone here use ergodox?

USD$90 for a Ducky Shine 1? that's a pretty steep price IMHO.
even ducky shine 2 want to sell for that price also a bit susah lol considering the latest ducky shine 3 is just RM399 or about USD$110 for a new unit

Guys, I need help. Anyone you know mod keyboard here? I'd like to mod the Brown switch in the KBT ONI space bar only to MX Clear. As you know, I am not happy how the Round 4 Spherical space bar, which is taller and heavier, feel on the brown. The brown is too light to take it. As such I am looking to mod the space bar switch to a heavier one like Clear. Anyone in KL/PJ provides such a service?

So far, no other models beaten this yoh!!!
https://www.google.com/search?q=cm+quickfir...0&bih=752&dpr=1

But luckily, they had fix it partially by reducing it in new batches. But again, their rubber coating... rolleyes.gif

Not to mention their new board like the mech... Over design level over 9000.

I don't think they had changed their OEM for TK. Cause their newer boards like mech still under the same OEM. A new OEM normally will accompanied with a change in the modifiers layout or even stabilizers types.

Ok thats 4 logos if we don't count the win keys but at least they aren't too obtrusive on a matte surface except for the red-black version. I think that CM/Corsair are less interested in making plain jane looking keyboards since they are gaming brands anyhow and their intended customers probably don't mind the garish logos and non-standard keycap sizes. I think mechanicals for gaming companies are just a way of creating a more lucrative product line without any real benefit for gamers anyway. Modders are just a small proportion of users and will never be able to dictate to those companies on what their designs should be like.

What was the cause of the QFR problem? was it the pcb itself like the traces/soldering or was it lack of proper support (bending) on that side of the keyboard?

Why LED important to you?
I really like the ergodox layout biggrin.gif
It's ok for me even the keyboard do not have LED mod.
