Any of the X model practically have good IQ even the old X10 or X100. You might wanna skip model without evf/ovf..you'll miss it coming from dslr.

x trans II vs the old one difference is just the II got embed phase detection sensor on it, so it allows faster AF compared to conventional image sensor. i have tested it out both in low light and bright condition, AF is not superbly fast like DSLR, but i don feel it slow or sluggish at all. image quality wise, expect more or less the same with the old version.
X trans sensor (I or II) use different arrangement for the sensor photosite which allows it to do away optical low pass filter, other words sharper image without moire... well, this is what they claim.
AF point selection can be done doesn't matter u are using LCD or EVF. what u see in LCD can be seen in EVF. no difference. just see which one you prefer only.
i have tested the Nex-6 too before decided to go for X-E2. for me, both EVF seems to be good enough, but i never tested the nex-6 under low light, so no comment. but X-E2 evf really work like a charm under low light condition, which is something the X-E1 lack of. in terms of lens, have to agree so far fuji lens and 3rd party X mount lens are expensive. unless you buy manual lens then can be cheaper. but for me I'm ok as the quality of the lens is superb. some of the sony E mount lens just feel not solid (maybe they are meant for entry level or so), but image quality wise, there are some good lens as i heard of from sony user.
go and test the camera out and see which you prefer. and oh, Nex-6 advantage is better grip. the x-E2 retro styling look nice, but when shooting long time your hand grip will feel tired. i need to get the optional grip to solve this problem...

Yes you can select the focus point in Xpro1 OVF. But the points are limited compared to the EVF.
In OVF theres only 25 points, while 49 points if you change to EVF.
And XE2 EVF, theres no problem to select the focus point.
Thx guys for the comment
Already place order for the x-m1 as xpro1 and xe2 is out of my budget, I need something that can bring to restaurant, have a small party with family use, my 60d and 1755mm f2.8 stil will keep with me haha, I just make sure I wont do the wrong decision to skip the sony nex6 and join fuji family
about the ovf or evf, I think its ok because I stil use my note2 for shot if didnt bring my dslr, should be not a big problem without the ovf evf from the x-m1 ^^
I need something that good , light , and cheap price haha, I seethe xm1 iso performance is even little better than my 60d @@"
