just personal opinion, if plan to use prime, normally want to be discrete... use Fuji better... DSLR + Prime will still attract a lot of attention from people. but if this is not your concern, then either way will do. a lot of DSLR shooter who don feel like letting go of their DSLR system will go for X100/100s as a second body. just like a DSLR second body attached with prime lens. at least it is not at all bulky and a lot of fun to use.
when using DSLR i have never go more than 80mm before as the longest lens i have stops at 85mm... i really don do much of sports or wild life thing. so at the moment not planning to get fuji 55-200mm yet. Will definitely get the 10-24mm, with kit lens 18-55, then maybe add one or two fast prime and i should be able to survive for quite some time. All in all, the investment is surely there, just hope that i can recover most of it from my old gear selling off
Depending on what you shoot, actually there're quite some cheap manual lens that can be use with Fuji, which is something i will definitely look into

Feeling like re-learn all my photography skills and passion after getting the X-E2
I've never used primes with my DSLR

. But yes, that's very true, DSLR in general attracts a lot of attention as its bulky and people will immediately mark you as a rich person (even if you're using a d3100 or 450d which cost about the same as a compact). I found it difficult to walk around when I'm having a day trip when I have to carry my DSLR to take photos. Sometimes I'm even too lazy/too afraid to take out my DSLR in some areas that I just use my phone to snap photos.
I haven't actually had the chance to use my x-pro 1 yet haha. only tonight and tomorrow. but i have a feeling that i will enjoy it immensely even without the articulating screen. for me I used my 70-200 quite a lot as I'm doing my piloting course and it's really good to use to take photos of planes and stuff but now as I am done with the course, I thought that once i got back to KL, I will sell my whole set up and jump to Fuji (which I have been eyeing ever since the release of the X100).
Like I said, manual focusing can be fun but for me it's a pass haha. It's way too troublesome for me to learn how to do the right way & it will be a cause for me to buy the f/0.95 lens haha. I really like the leica M series, I had the opportunity to touch(molest

) an M9 some time ago and damn, the feel of it is just really good haha. it feels like a car not like a camera. Even with that said, I still think that I will never get the Leica M even if I could afford it because manual focus is just not my thing haha.
