My first time feeling the Fuji X system, first impression lens build quality is solid! But my 23mm the 1.4 a bit cosmetic >_<

really? mine looks ok ..just that maybe the 1.4 looks a bit closer to each other than the other numbers..never noticed until you point it out haha..but the build quality is damn nice right ..

comparable to D800? I saw on some review website they compare x-pro 1 high iso performance with d800 and 5dmiii

16MP on 1.5x crop is basically the same pixel density as the 36MP FF sensor of the D800 ;-). Well, to be expected... but the gradient seems a bit lacking compare to the D800. I guess the different processor is being counted here. But nevertheless, I'm happy for now

Oh ya, I think my lens might be bath problem but AF and everything is working fine. Plus I checked the optics and all seems ok so I'll live with it >_< or maybe look for any of my friends who plays gundam etc and get them to touch up for me haha!

with the price tag of a little less than half of the d800, i think can live with it ..my 23 1.4 seems ok, no issue with the cosmetics ..seems a little strange haha..maybe send an email to fuji msia, who knows maybe they send u replacement + free 1 lens for the problem..paying 2.4k for a lens should have the best possible quality ..fuji has really good customer service so i think they will at least send a replacement unit

X-E2 body only is a little more than 1/4 of the D800's price, if I recalled corrected. Well the cosmetic is small issue, doesn't impact the item just well not what I would expect from Fuji, maybe I'm a little picky

On second thought I will try sending an email to Fuji and see what would they respond, hehe.

it shouldn't be that way actually..i'm think fuji msia will ask u to drop by at their hq or something like that to get a replacement for the lens coz fuji need to keep good reputation haha..no harm in trying actually, even me I will be fussy a bit if i noticed that..i think that email should be fine
