QUOTE(LinTao @ Jan 5 2014, 10:11 PM) widest variety if you want to go to a physical shop I would say is YL Camera. The price probably is slightly more than online sellers here but you can guarantee that the products are ori + you have the chance to take a look and even try the accessories. but be careful coz I went there I spent almost RM600 edit : location is in Jaya 33, PJ..they have 2 shops there, 1 is entirely for cameras + lenses, and another is for accessories and bags. both just next to each other in the mall how about the one is Pudu? Can compare in terms of variety of products?

QUOTE(mingyuyu @ Jan 5 2014, 10:31 PM) how about the one is Pudu? Can compare in terms of variety of products? i think the one in YL is just for service..they have 3 in total.. YL Camera Pro Shop, YL Accessories Pro Shop & YL Camera Services..the one in Jaya 33 are the camera pro and accessories pro shops where they sell products..the one in pudu is just for servicing..if you have time, it's quite nice to go take a look at jaya 33.. they have a huge variety of products, especially stuff that are difficult to find here like billingham & domke bags, samyang lenses, artisan & artisan, match technical, etc..previously I never considered going there coz a lot of people said that they are very lansi towards newcomers even if you spend a lot of money..I found that not true..but maybe its coz of the way I talked to them, coz normally I go in I always act like we long time friend ..keep insisting on discount and "scold" the fella ask him why so expensive give more discount la ..just go in and be nice to the shop assistants and you'll be treated well

PJ is just so far for me

PJ is just so far for me it's better to go only if you want to buy something and you would prefer to test it out first for example a samyang lens or a strap..there a few sellers here in lyn you can cod with them and it's probably cheaper than YL but samyang x mount I think none of the lyn sellers have..coz I asked and a lot said don't have..then I googled the fisheye lens and added malaysia at the back and YL & Shashinki came up ..next day straight went there to buy haha..

Of course i can get the best by testing at shop and buy from online seller, but that's not good since you go people's shops and test things for fun

Of course i can get the best by testing at shop and buy from online seller, but that's not good since you go people's shops and test things for fun it depends on what u want to buy la haha..if for example, u buy artisan and artisan strap..like mine i bought was RM350..i think on lyn is RM320 or 330..spend la that RM20/30 since they explain to u, show you different brands and models and let u take ur time to think and touch touch the strap haha..then if u want buy from online seller also need wait 2 days to receive item..then dunno is ori or not .. like the samyang 8mm fisheye i bought rite, on their online shop they put 1150, I go there say aiya can la 1100 I give cash then they said aiya ok la ok la 1100 haha..then since outside already, can straight go and use the lens

AA last longer than AAA so there's just no point in getting the x20 unless you're planning on using it as a slave.. when you go can test first hand the items & if they know what they are talking about, they explain properly to u..like I went to fotokem the other day the guy completely don't know what he talking about when he explaining to me about the OVF and EVF..I just went to molest the x100s only and nod my head

QUOTE(kernel123 @ Jan 6 2014, 12:49 AM) as compared to xf 35 and xf 23, which one is sharper? Honestly, I don't see a difference..I think both wide open are really sharp equally..but if I were to choose 1 I'd say the 23mm is sharper wide open..but stopped down for sure 23mm is a bit more sharper than the 35 (from what I can tell la )
