they announcing the 56mm f/1.2 tomorrow (well today...6th of Jan lol)..along with some Finepix cameras & Fuji X100S black edition. Hoping for pricing < 3k but probably not..even the fujinon 10-24 also 3k+..

btw if you want UWA, ever thought of the samyang 8mm fisheye?  thumbup.gif
*
guess the price will shoot up to RM4k or even RM5k as ukdigital 56mm f1.2 tagging it at 999 pound, really kaw kaw kaw the price...

well for the X100s black, last time X100 black edition was really a big hit, but the pricing fuh...is limited edition but i still can see many shop still selling it... blink.gif

guess need to grow my wallet bigger then...

i read it from the Fuji rumors forum, some saying part of the XC lens were made of plastics instead of full glass which found in XF lenses. Sharp? do you mean wide open? i guess those lens will have to step down to achieve optimum sharpness..

widest variety if you want to go to a physical shop I would say is YL Camera. The price probably is slightly more than online sellers here but you can guarantee that the products are ori + you have the chance to take a look and even try the accessories. but be careful coz I went there I spent almost RM600  sweat.gif

edit : location is in Jaya 33, PJ..they have 2 shops there, 1 is entirely for cameras + lenses, and another is for accessories and bags. both just next to each other in the mall
*
the camera X-E2 i was looking for was quite expensive though.. digital mall pj can get for 4055 though..

Let me try out and see my 16-50mm, got any photo that show not sharp?

Fuji claim that xc 1650mm is plastic build but optics is on pair with 1855mm, I like the 1650mm focus without sound and quite fast , not like the primes will zek zek zek

not all plastics, i typo mistake, some element are in plastic, as forumer say if full glass will be too heavy for the size and cannot make that small, but i have tried both lens, 100% image zoom are very hard to differentiate

guess the reason is the f1.2, last time Canon launched its EF 85mm f1.2 L II price hiked up to RM13k, so i am not sure about the pricing for 56mm f1.2. I have friends in UK saying camera there selling at a very high price, he compared a Nikon D610 with £1800 in UK to a RM7.3k in Malaysia...price different a lot when conversion...so i guess malaysia will be selling at a very different price..maybe cheaper

But Fujifilm never fail me yet, keep on with surprises...

Train time!!!

Holding such small body with 56mm might easily cause hand shake, even with my 60d, I need to attach battery grip + a deep breath , unless im shooting over 1/120 ss

The 55-210mm different story as u can hold the lens more steady

Bought a x100s recently. Loving it. You guys know any seller in lowyat.net that sells half case for x100s? The gariz half case is way too expensive!

at least we know the prices mean quality laugh.gif ..and quality doesn't mean 5 digit price tag for fujinon.

Fujinon 56mm f/1.2 SRP : £999.99!! roughly RM5.5k? doh.gif
let's wait for Fuji Malaysia though. From what I understand, Fuji Japan & Fuji Malaysia has the cheapest prices around laugh.gif ..but probably the lowest it'll be 4k? damn that's a loooooot of money for a barrel with a glass in the middle whistling.gif whistling.gif
