Looks ok for me. Sharp or not sharp depends a lot whether there's movement in the picture, any hand shake, aperture n shutter setting.... So... Unless u do a studio test, if not hard to say a lens sharp or not. So just hav to keep on refining the technique ans skill to make sure picture taken will improve

UK gadget price cant compare as their tax is ridiculous. Usually we can gauge using US pricing.

one out of topic question, just want your opinion
I have a Nikon D700 and a 35mm F2 lens in my hand and i have Fujiflm X100 on the other hand.

I was thinking, in the same light condition, i shot a picture with my D700 together with 35mm f2 @1/60s, f/4, ISO400, what is the setting i have to set for my X100 to get the same exposure.
Since X100 is 23mm, which is 35mm in FF, so i assume is also the same? X100 @1/60s, f4, ISO400?

quite dont understand this thing...another one is in M43 system camera, let say i have a 17mm lens f1.8, is it equivalent to 35mm f/3.6 in full frame? i know the focal range need to multiply 2 as 2x crop factor, but does the aperture also need to multiply as lack of flange back?

so does it mean my fujifilm x100 23mm f2 lens is equivalent to 35mm f/3 in full frame?
need icon_question.gif , Thanks!

from what i understand, the 2x means the equivalent focal length and dof only, doesn't affect the amount of light entering at all. imagine shooting in 50mm f1.4 in FF then crop later in PP into half of the size. smile.gif exposure won't change, just that you get less dof under the same framing
