considering new tint - xpel, horus, vkool, irispro, llumar...so many brand on the market

totalguard using what technology? nano ceramic or Metal sputter?

i believe these are the 2 main tech on tints today, correct me if otherwise

Bought a used car and now in the midst of PUSPAKOM processing, all the windscreen and both front seat windows tinting will be taken down.

Any recommendation ? I knew from here to avoid Raytech , thinking 3M.
Any idea what cost should I be expecting for just 3 pieces of tinted film?

As far as I noted, nope. The rear window I take the darkest, lowest VLT for privacy. But from inside it clear when look outside. Same goes to the sunroof

Anyone is using IrisPro?
Is it better than Llumar Titanium 4-50

based on spec kinda ok. but I prefer tint with IRR98-99% rating. But must always verified with meter

Brands like Hamel and Rhinepro, are they worth exploring? Dont see much review from them here..

also, V-Kool or 3M?

what the cost be like for their top spec? IRR95% above. if hit rm2k, better get branded & well known brand/ model

So, have you installed your tint at Totalgard? is the infusion pro tint good in cutting heat? i am planning to go to them to tint my car as well, thanks.

yes in my case. installed the same model back in 2020. Heat rejection the best due to spec. Installation luckily I got a good tech during that time, else I will bark to them for warranty

Using 3m crystalline ..vkool is better imo but 3m also good..normally just put 22 Celsius with fan power 2

Was wondering in which aspect vkool is better than 3m?
Planning to install car tint for my MPV either one of the brand here
Just cant decide which is better in terms of cooler cabin

Heat rejection vkool is better but for price range 2k ..3m is the best choice unless u got budget over 3 to 4k.. then can consider vkool.

Still contemplating between 3M and V-kool , got quotation from @dog999 on 3m Crystalline.

Seems to be click bait. Called an authorised VKool installer in Kepong. Price quoted for above Tinting & Coating package is 3288 for SUV. Tinting is combination of VKool Elite and VKool REM 40.

Just becareful Vkool is a premium brand , never been that low price with coating . Vkool tinted alone for full car also need around RM 1.6k to RM 4k depends on range. Might be using other brand/in house brand film .

Believe the only V-Kool is the sticker. The tint is an unknown brand.
