Hi guys, any comment on Signature brand for car tint?

Looking to tint my father's 9 years toyota altis.
any recommended shop in JB?
any idea how much it cost for a "normal" tint? (reduce heat and some privacy)

any shop with good workmanship? Just scratch my rear tint bonnet with kids bicycles when closing the autoboot. X70. To redo back the rear bonnet tint

If budget but ok ok brand tint, wat is ok? My area a-gard top end need 700-800 like tat.. the tint at sarawak really hanching price.

Suncool ok ka? Lately seems like to sputter type macam ok. Raytech here also sibeh exp.. 3m here price 30-40% more exp than west msia

depends on your budget actually, i did mine with Raytech at plentong, jalan mutiara, my family car did it in 3M Automotive Window Films&Building Film at dato sulaiman. Raytech more expensive, coz i picked a "better" film, but when i sit in both car, the different is hard to tell actually, so i would recommend going to the one in dato sulaiman. it's about 1k+ mid range film.

If it me, I will buy the tint material rolls, post to Sarawak, and pay for installation.

Most shop here don do installation only. Cos their labor fee cheap only, they charge u the materials.. which shop can buy the roll only? If buy roll also need buy in bulk eh, like tat more expensive cos only use 1 car lol

Not sure how to comment on the car tint, but my car cools down pretty quickly upon starting the car.
Though I can still feel a bit of heat from the sunlight.

Claimed to be IRR 90, uv400, costs rm900 for my B segment sedan car. Not sure which model is it, as it doesn't belong to the high end one which costs above rm1.5k

Recently installed 3M Crystalline 70 for front windscreen. They cut a hole for Smart Tag but this didn't work as well, so I just stick my Smart Tag at my usual location for every car, which is right below the sunshade.

Smart Tag works so far but need to slow down a lot compared to Llumar's Top 70 and Hamel's Royale. For Llumar and Hamel, I also put under the sunshade.

But oh well, now there's a small rectangle box at the top right corner so I just use the service reminder sticker to cover it.

how much crystalline 70 for front only?

and does it work to reduce heat? you tested direct sunlight?

As for the heat, not sure, not yet. But I assume it will work just as good as my 2 other tints, or better.

When people ask how do I know my tints actually reduce heat since I am not measuring the actual heat rejection while driving, I just tell them this:
I always charge my phone while I drive and use Waze. When I put my phone on the phone holder in tinted cars, it works normally. But when in non-tinted cars, the phone will inform me that it has stopped charging as the temperature is too hot.

that made sense. i myself have a phone send warning like this. should try it.

I better check with those 3M meter, how much is the IRR% for tint installed vs the pamplet.

Anyone can recommend good quality tint with good workmanship and reasonable price at Penang? What’s the best price can get for x50? Anyone has comparison between 3M, V-Kool and Raytech tint?

Anyone here tried Llumar tinted ATR20 for whole car windows? Wonder VTL21% will looked nice on white civic car or not, and will it difficult to see during night time?

Now dilemma between go for 35% or 20% VTL on whole car.. in term of looking nice and viewing at night.

Heard some people said if too dark tinted, the car will looked like lala style also.
