But I heard that the vkool REM is the entry level, not high performing range. Elite is the one that is better. Since elite is used for the FWS only, still worth it?

I am using that vkool combo elite FWS and rem38 at the sides. overall I am happy with the heat rejection. I don't drive on highway much. smart tags not a problem (only slow down but don't need to wind down windows).

the car will still warm up after long hours in the sun. I wind down windows for a min or 2 then all is cool after that.

I've got it installed in a crv since july'18.

pricing wise is similar to what you got.

Hi guys. I'm planning to tint my HRV... Budget around RM1.5k - RM2k max

I'm looking for a tint 1) with more privacy and 2) heat rejection

Can please give me some recommendations?

From above threads, I saw someone mentioned Vkool Combo Elite FWS and REM38 at the sides for RM1,800. Is that a good choice?

Hi, have anyone done LLumar TCP 6 tint? How much does it cost, and what’s your thought comparing with 3M crystalline ?

I am actually looking at TCP 6 also. Sales person said it is similar to RM3k 3M crystalline top range

I have been suggested PIPL50 for the front, and TCP6 for sides/rear. Quoted RM2k

According to specs on Llumar page, it looks quite good.

Majority of the heat comes in from FWS, so might still be worth it.

Anyway, I've used Raytech RC series and Huper Optik Sech 60 before. Both also perform well for me. Have not used Vkool before.

I decided to go with the Raytech MX range for the sides, MC for the rear (same as MX but without security), and upgraded to the Q70 for the FWS. Got it for RM 1,800. Not sure how good a deal that was but I did try to push the sales girl a little. The list price for this combo is RM 2,900 I believe. But we also know list prices are BS.

The limit still 70%, 50%, 30% right? Wonder how is the fee being imposed.
