if there is a slight small chip in my front windshield screen, can i still able to tint my screen?
*
Hi bro, you have to repair the small chip before do tinting. It's because we will use the hot gun during tinting process. It may cause the crack bigger. If the small chip is too long already, should be cannot repair it smile.gif

If no QR sticker, will it fail if I install Raytech on my car ah? How to make sure it is legal compliant?
*
Hi bro, the new policy will launch in Jan 2018. Raytech films can pass for JPJ enforcement, but not covered to Puspakom inspection smile.gif

Hi bro, thanks for your inquiry. The QR code sticker will be issued to customer who tinted the car on next year only. But don't worry because all of Raytech films are passed the MS2669 requirements smile.gif

Is it true, using unauthorized tint will void your car warranty? Like Honda for example.

hi, tinting car any where will not get warranty void.

At least you send back service maintenance & repair at Authorized workshop, warranty still valid.

like car tyre, you can change tyre at any where, it does not related to car warranty.

you also can refer to :
https://www.honda.com.my/customer_service/f...rchkey=warranty
https://toyota.com.my/aftersales-services/warranty

Hope the Raytech and/or V-Cool rep here can answer my query...

Under the new JPJ 2018 rules, min. VLT still at 70 front/50 front sides/30 rear sides and rear?

Under your product line-up, what's the darkest tint that can pass the new ruling and can get the barcode sticker?

Please advise notworthy.gif

Add: 1 thing I find funny, my previous car tinted by Llumar, they actually tinted my whole car with VLT 50 tints...which basically means my front windscreen tint cannot pass JPJ/Puspakom, yet they gave my JPJ warranty on my invoice rclxub.gif

The warranty usually means that if you got a summon from JPJ for inspection of tint, they will help you to remove/retint FOC.

FYI, the new rules only applicable on the car registered on 1st Jan 2018 onwards.

You can consider

V-Kool Elite/70 for front
V-Kool 55, 40 or 30 for side and rear

have some question.

1. do you guys tint according to the new JPJ 2018 rule?
2. what happen if those old car, old tint that not comply to JPJ 2018? (i read that only car registered on and after 1st jan 2018 must comply it, so what about car registered before 2018?
3. my new car arriving probably mid-end nov 2017, the tint must have QR code?

Ok my post will sound stupid but here it goes:- I own a super old nissan sunny 130Y, 21yr.
I do put in effort to maintain it and the most recent changes are absorbers, tyres, alternator, radiator, compressor, brakes, etc etc. Didn't change the car yet because I prefer to have cash sitting in pocket...

Disadvantage: I don't drive a lot during daytime, but when I do it's like a cooker because there is no tinting! I talked to some friends and they adviced me against any cheapo tint (RM200 ish types) because it harm your vision by not filtering UV, etc etc. I won't want to invest a lot on an old car, so what do you all think?
