I just tinted my new Honda Jazz at 3M Ampang. Crystalline 70 for front and back, and Nano 40 for side windows. Total satisfaction for both product quality and workmanship. Price is very reasonable too. Recommended.

QUOTE(Wind82 @ Mar 13 2017, 09:09 AM) Hi guys, I just got my car tinted with 3M crystalline 70. At first it looks great. No bubble and clear. But now after a week plus, the tint seems foggy and there is this "halo" effect on car headlights, street light and etc. May I know whats the problem? It is odd that it happens so fast. I have 2 cars with CR70, a 2 year old City and 2.5 year old Jazz. The City has had its CR70 replaced just one year after using, while my Jazz after 2.5 years, is having same problem now and going to claim tomorrow. In fact, the City, now with it's 1 year old tint, is showing sign already. Come to think of it, both my cars, and your car, is showing this sign at around same time. Are you driving in KL? QUOTE(Wind82 @ Mar 14 2017, 09:08 AM) Yea, im driving in KL. Could it be due to the hot afternoon then raining in the evening? Hmmm.. First time using 3M tint. Didn't know it will have so many problems. Last time used ECO-tint, no problem at all. I was always thnking that my City was an isolated case, but seems not when my Jazz, and even your newly tinted car, are having same issue. Kinda disappointed.

Is there any tint shop in Klang Valley that can confidently remove rear windscreen tint by not damaging the rear demister? I need to replace my tint as it is causing too much halo on headlamps at night.

QUOTE(Lord Gitsy @ Mar 15 2017, 12:02 AM) Hi, For new car the chances to remove successfully is higher than older car. But tinted shop will not responsible to any damages happened on rear demister during removing process. You can try request the tinted shop to remove it carefully and still the chances is 50-50 My car is almost 2 years old, so I assume it is new? hehe BTW, if the demister is damaged, besides the non-functioning line(s), will there be obvious defects that can be seen easily from afar?

QUOTE(Kitty Zhang @ Oct 19 2017, 09:09 AM) Hope the Raytech and/or V-Cool rep here can answer my query... Under the new JPJ 2018 rules, min. VLT still at 70 front/50 front sides/30 rear sides and rear? Under your product line-up, what's the darkest tint that can pass the new ruling and can get the barcode sticker? Please advise Add: 1 thing I find funny, my previous car tinted by Llumar, they actually tinted my whole car with VLT 50 tints...which basically means my front windscreen tint cannot pass JPJ/Puspakom, yet they gave my JPJ warranty on my invoice The warranty usually means that if you got a summon from JPJ for inspection of tint, they will help you to remove/retint FOC.
