There is a way to dual boot actually.  But I never done it before so I not the right person to explain the details.

You can actually do nandroid backup with official Malaysia 4.4.2 with custom recovery  so you can go switch between custom.

With ND3 Bootloader.. you still flash can 4.3 rom but not the 4.1.2
*
You can do it for certain kernels. But there's no CUSTOM kernet out there YET for KITKAT.
For 4.3 and below you can do it.

Note2 really give Samsung the biggest headache. Most refused to upgrade or switch to a rival brand.

Testing Mi3 now... going to dump Note2 to my mom.

Zzz. ND3 ROM giving me a lot of problems now. Video Player force close and Ti Backup not working, unable to backup. Maybe it's caused by dirty flash. Reflashing fresh DN3 ROM again. If the problem still persist, then sorry la, I am back to stock ROM.

Video player forced close can happen in 4.3 n 4.4 if u delete the .thumbnails folder and replaced it with .thumbnails file.

Personally I never quite like DN3. Too much functions at the expense of stability. At first is OK OK. Then the nightmare starts. Sometimes customers calls won't even come in. That was the last straw. Once restarts, all those emails, miss calls flooding in like crazy.

I don't think that's the problem. After I re-flash the ROM everything is OK. I didn't delete any thumbnails file on my SD Card.

going for Phoenix? i was on it a few days ago, and the thing that makes me opt out is because it eats up a lot of ram.
I restart the phone, clean dalvik cache, freeze up a lot of unused apps, the ram usage is like 1GB to 1.2GB, for no reason and like open up a few social media app, it straight go to 85% of the total ram usage...

maybe this is my case, phoenix still a good one since the beginning! biggrin.gif

one thing to ask, I have the S Health app, but the pedometer is not working, is it lake of hardware on my note 2? or how is the pedometer in S Health working?

Lack of hardware la. We don't have heart beat sensor like at the bottom of S5 lens or beside the LED flash light.

pedometer as in measuring how many steps you walk in a distance, guess nothing to do with the heart beat sensor i guess? since ported from S5, just wanna give it a quick try
