QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Dec 15 2013, 05:33 PM) Too good to be true... Going to have a look at it tomorrow. If it comes with warranty from Nikon, then its genuine right? I'm quite skeptical about this too, bring a friend with an original grip and compare side by side. Normally the battery tray won't even fit inside, and compare the weight and the feel. The magnesium alloy ones are more solid and feels a little cold inside aircond environment. The fakes usually are just plastic, gives a weird balance to the body. |

Tried new spot, not a good place though. Too many rubbish, but I took some shots now that I was there anyway.

I think I have one, later I check and post in flickr. It really is one fat spider haha Any shots of it showing the patterns on its abdomen? A bit curious as to what it is haha... Cause if I am not mistaken, this might be a nocturnal spider This post has been edited by copperwire93: Dec 15 2013, 11:08 PM |

Here are some random shots for the my upcoming review
After so many shots though, I can't seem to get the "just right" clarity in the photo. Already tried to decrease aperture and ISO while using a tripod to get clarity, but somewhat still doesn't hit the spot... This post has been edited by Koki: Dec 16 2013, 12:16 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Already tried to decrease aperture and ISO while using a tripod to get clarity, but somewhat still doesn't hit the spot... If you're on tripod, then no need to adjust the ISO, just set it to the lowest possible. Be in Aperture Priority, and choose high value aperture (narrow) like f/16. Make the shutter in timer mode, focus then click the shutter away. Wait till the image perfectly processed before you touch your camera to prevent any camera shake which will result in image blur. |

Also dear copperwire93, nice shots! EDIT: Btw, do you all use Photoshop's lens correct profiles that are built into it? Because the Tamron 17-50mm lens caused a lot of vignetting and curving on pictures like the product's box and my table, so I just used that lens correction to fix it. Because the mobile has a rather long distance between the forth and the back, your point of focus also play the part. Get the focus point in between and experiment other point as well, use live view for better placement. I always do the lens profile correction. Unless if you're in JPEG, I think the firmware built-in automatically fix it. |

Hope you guys don't mind me posting pics over here (canon thread is pretty unactive and no macro guy inside also).
Housefly is really an easy subject for macro, they aren't very alert and large in size so you don't need something with really high magnification to take their pictures. ![]() IMG_6068 by tuna97, on Flickr ![]() IMG_6085 by tuna97, on Flickr Don't halau me keluar |
