so u guys use photoshop/GIMP?

Another thing is..

I'm using kit lens 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 DX VR . And its hard to use low ISO and faster shutter speed. Usually I use around 100-320 ISO and shutter speed around 1/20-1/30sec to get a brighter image. I wondering is there any way i can increase my picture quality by using low ISO? been playing around alot  sweat.gif

Err.. you don't always have to use low ISO hmm.gif
if the place is dark, then don't be afraid to bump up ISO ya icon_rolleyes.gif
Modern DSLRs are pretty good at noise performance already, so you won't really lose too much details nod.gif
Current lineups of entry-level DSLRs can perform decently up to ISO3200 icon_rolleyes.gif

Try to adjust your ISO until you get a shutter speed of 1/50 or faster so you don't get blurred shots icon_rolleyes.gif

if i bump up my ISO , in the camera screen it looks nice. but when I view through my desktop, it looks like theres noise. Not so prominent. just slight noises. u can see the face is slightly grainy-ish. haha doh.gif

... which is normal man, especially so if you are viewing it from a high-resolution screen laugh.gif
Don't worry too much about it... don't forget that at the end of the day, if you develop the photo, or upload it, the photos will be displayed in much smaller sizes: Those noises will not be conspicuous. And additionally, you could always "reduce" the noise via post-processing icon_rolleyes.gif
Don't be afraid to bump up the ISO, especially true under indoor conditions~ Can go up to ~ISO3200... anymore than that you'll need other light sources like flash icon_rolleyes.gif

Get a 35mm F/1.8G or 50 mm f/1.8g. rclxms.gif
I think D5200 in ISO 1000 still acceptable. Do some touch up in LR to look better. (Copied advise from [PF T.J.]) whistling.gif
