Hello to all taigors and taikarjies out there!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Just to share my experience on the day of signing SPA.
Early morning 9am, I went breakfast with wife, having wantan mee(Not knowing that EcoSky will be serving food later.  cry.gif )
After that, we make our move to EcoSky.
When we reached there, we were greeted at registration counter.
Notifying us who was our panel lawyers, we then proceed to sign the approriate documents.

The process of signing SPA was smooth and professional.
The lawyer handled our case good and briefed us important details on SPA.
After that, an EcoSky staff briefed us on other details regarding the unit, and he proceeded to collect the remaining downpayment. A gift package which consist of a nice 2014 calendar, a booklet of EcoSky (quite thick), a nice file which filed our receipts and booking forms and a very chic quality recycle bag was given to us.

After that, the staff invited us to have our meals.
I thought it would be fried meehun, curry chicken, fried nuggets and orange cordial.
Mana tahu when we sit down, the caterer served welcome juice, cream soup and bread with butter as starter:

Then they served the main course (which I thought was chicken  rclxub.gif )
[attachmentid=3781859]
I did not managed to finshed my portion of chicken (ahem, which was actually turkey laugh.gif ) due to the earlier wantan mee in my stomach.

Last but not least, dessert was served. The Tong Yuan and Ice Cream:

My wife and I were too full (up till the neck  tongue.gif )
When we left, we managed to run into our SA. We did questioned him on the additional 2% given to repeat customers of SP Setia. He said this was the last minute decision to rebate loyal customers. Personally, I have no point arguing because I am small potato who did not purchase previous SP projects. My opinion is, everyone has to have their first purchase in order to enjoy these loyalty rebates. So, I will wait for my turn.  sweat.gif

My SA told me that EcoWorld will launch a Loyalty Program next month, in order to encourage repeat buyers.
So for those repeat customers, they will be entitled for more rebates next round. I also checked regarding the launching of Eco Majestic in Semenyih. Tentatively, they will launch in April 2014. Size of terrace link house is 20*70, strata landed. Price starting from RM500k.

So, to all the EcoSky taigors and taikarjies. Huat ah!!!

I was debating some time back that incinerators are the way to go and japan for one has used it for many years, also located in cities. After reading this article, i now have doubts

from uk study, 1 tons rubbish is about 340kg carbon, will generate 1.246 tons of co2

1246 tons of free co2 there.. if you plant tree near there sure growth super fast. because so high co2 for plant to conduct photosynthesis.

really eco sky..

The article shows much of cronyism and how arrogant the gahmen can be......

Why are incinerator contracts awarded to firm with no track record, asks opposition MP
December 23, 2013
Latest Update: December 23, 2013 12:53 pm

Putrajaya must explain why it awarded contracts to build incinerator plants to a firm with no track record, opposition lawmaker Ong Kian Ming (pic) said today.

The company, XCN Technology, was also accused of using unproven technology at the plants in Langkawi, Pangkor, Cameron Highlands and Tioman.

The Serdang MP said XCN Technology had won the bid to build the incinerators in Langkawi and Pangkor by direct negotiations.

Citing the Auditor General's Report 2012, Ong said, it was then again awarded contracts to build waste disposal plants in Cameron Highlands and Tioman through direct negotiations.

XCN Technology had so little experience that all four plants faced considerable construction and operational delays.

The plant on Pulau Tioman was delayed by more than 1,000 days. It had also allegedly ignored Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) guidelines.

On January 25, 2013, XCNT won a contract to build another plant in Labuan.

"The Urban Well-Being, Housing and Local Government Ministry must explain why contracts are awarded to a company without any experience through direct negotiations. Why was the company handed more contracts despite delays in the earlier plant?” he asked.

The three incineration plants and one waste-to-energy plant had also used the autogenous combustion technology (ACT) system, which Ong said was “unproven technology”.

He said the incinerator on Pulau Pangkor did not burn autogenously as it could not reach the minimum 850 degrees Celsius required for it to function.

XCN Technology is controlled by Tan Sri Abdul Wahab Nawi, a former chief of navy from 1986 to 1990.

Urban Well-Being, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan should explain why the ministry failed to oversee the construction of four small-scale incinerators (which handled up to 100 tonnes of rubbish a day).

This, Ong said, gave the public little confidence that the ministry could oversee the construction and running of the proposed 1,000-tonne-a-day incinerator in Taman Beringin in Kepong. – December 23, 2013.

At the stage that how the residents are working together to protest the project, this incinerator may not happen at all.

You got it right....

Incinerator will not solve the problem. Incinerator is not suitable for Malaysia type of domestic wastes. Too much humidity and too high operating cost to run it.....

3R concept is still the way to go.....

Kiara East and lakeville will be further away compared to ecosky. Those facing west will get direct view of the infamous incinerator. Actually in japan, people and schools organize trips to the incinerators for educational and sight seeing. There is still a chance that it wont happen. So chill.......no need to panic.

Landscaping wise...think ecosky is top notch judging from their show house. Christmas tree plus the greens.....simply awesome.
