For one year tenancy, if landlord insisted on $1.8k but left vacant for over 2.5 months will be worst off than rented out at $1.5k immediately. Landlords need to decide whether can rent out within 2.5 months or not.

Property market been a zero sum game. Those holding for market price will only benefit those decided to undercut; not only won't be appreciated but labelled ignorant.

Obviously those with gold and silver mountains backing could hold until they get their desire price.

For dead chicken group, $10 in pocket is better than $50 on the floor. Should take every $ on the table.

It depends on how fast the rental take up (liquidity) of partly furnished at rm1400-1500. If you put on market and within 2-3 weeks taken up, then obviously nobody will bite the offer.

For smallest size, Lakeville got 3bedroom vs ekosky 2bedrrom..very tough rental market here..2bedroom opposite Kiara East fully furnished rental cheap cheap, location much better, no need u turn..if ekosky continue targeting cheapskate tenant confirm can't fight with lakeville and Kiara east

Surely, there are some owners willing to rent out their full furnished 2 bedrooms unit at RM1,500 as they are struggling with the monthly installment and he may get his desired deal. As I mentioned, no harm asking smile.gif But I do believe, many unit owners perfer to follow the market price as they are not desperate enough to join the rental-fighting-war and they are looking for higher quality of the potential tenants too. Not every owner will take every money on table except those desperate one, there are others to consider as well...

every month you don't rent out .. you lose RM 1500 in rental .. within 3 months, almost RM5k
plus on the other hand, you get an Acountant DINK (dual income no kids) .. not some dodgy profile tenant

owners will have to do the balancing.
if only a couple, then fully furnish one room loh!
