for cooling pad, you can get coolermaster notepad u3/u3 plus, or cm storm sf-19 (i think this one is better). i think you can find skin protectors at taobao. (why do you need this for?) i'm not sure about screen protectors. maybe taobao has it too.

Oh sweet aw18 is a good machine.

hm my experience at taobao is actually good. There was one minor incident that the seller sent less quantity of the goods i ordered. They immediately topped up and delivered the balance to me. The rest were all good.

maybe you should pick the sellers with a lot of crown status (blue or gold), although I haven't had issues with diamond sellers also.

Hi guys, how's Alienware's after sales service?

Got a bigger budget to get a laptop before I fly off in september and I have an opt to get an AW15 now. I could save about 500 bucks to get a nearly similar specced MSI version, but was thinking if it was worth it to pay more for better after sales since Alienware is a popular brand?

fly off? do you come back? although it has international warranty, it's subject to the quality of service at the new place that you're staying. locally, their service is top notch. to date i think only dell can deliver a decent after-sale service, on-site.

will come back once in 2 years? I'll be going to the UK, so that means I should go the a UK forum to ask also right haha

hey, i just realized my gpu fan is not working properly, during load, the fan never spinning to its max rpm. and the temperature keeps hitting 90c. already cleaning the fan and apply a new thermal paste. how can i solve this?

is your bios is already latest version?
