SEH already ask you Bring 10% balance. If you bring CASH to there, then you can nego with SEH on rebate. I believe SEH not going to rebate on Downpayment. Maybe rebate on DIBS in others way, example buyer make a payment interest then need claim back with SEH.

I agree on that sense of no direct rebate on down payment.
I'm quite confident that SP will somehow find a way to reimburse the DIBS thing.

The DIBS portion has been ball-parked into the selling price, so, if it is not removed, or given as a rebate - certainly the other phases buyer are being shortchanged. I guess, they are trying to keep all under wraps and we will find out only when you guys sign the SPA.

Since when i' m signed the LO, my banker told me that my loan is with DIBS. No said that is has meh? and now get to wait until that day 7-8 Dec only can know is like this?

I received the sms for snp signing too. I called up ecohill and they 100% confirmed that there will be a package to replace dibs. We will know the package when we sign next weekend. Anyway, hv to wait for lawyer firm to call to confirm the exact date and time for the signing.

Fyi helicopter ride is open for everyone and there will be pony ride too. You can bring your kids over to see and ride the pony. For adults pls dont ride the pony

Those who have signed LO, should or will be issued a supplementary LO to clarify the removal of DIBS since the Budget announcement. None of us here has any feedback on how / what is going to be done to replace the DIBS.
Just got to wait and then make your decision based on all the info. But, to my knowledge and believe, there will be some form of compensation for removal of DIBS.

Yes; there should be some sort of a compensation package for those who had queued to get their name on the unit or waiting list same as the rest. This is an equal opportunity buyer who took all the necessary effort to book an unit. Just stay calm as per before the launch and see how it goes / what they offer.

Exactly, but its not confirmed that they will not release any info before SPA date. Because, in your SPA letter that is to follow your SMS - it will state the exact amount required on the day. So, this is just speculation if they will release it earlier or they will expect you to wait till the SPA signing date.

Anyways, just wondering, will you want to drop the unit should the DIBS is not fairly compensated?


But, i firmly believe the package that is replacing DIBS should be made clear to those who have selected the affected units for them to make reasonably informed decision and revert back to SPS adequately and not create chaos / scene on SPA signing date.

Yup, may drop if not fairly compensated as my unit is the most expensive type in DSL after corner lot. It's already expensive by 40K compare to Argentea with the argument that this type is brought forward from second phase & built material will be better which is yet to inform to us.

For me, compensation in lieu of DIBS is much better (provided it's fair) as i only applicable for 70% Loan.

I believe SP setia themselves also worried about buyers drop their units if they dont compensate us with a good replacement for DIBS. I am not sure what is the reason this is on hold.. Maybe awaiting approval? I doubt they are still evaluating several packages now coz if they do, i don't they will call for SPA signing for aquatilis and pistia. Anyway, for sure is not rebate since they requested buyers to pay the remaining 10%. I definitely will call them again this week. I hope others will share too of they know more about the DIBS replacement.
