Yeah, same here, I dont like the back facing the main road - and since there was a better option to go with, took the other one. But, everyone were saying, the house facing south means the back facing the main road is better in terms of fengshui and costs RM3k more.

Actually the ancient chinese feng shui philosophy of 'sit North face South' is more of building orientation to gain winter sun as China is located at the Northern hemisphere. Just my 2 cents. In fact, my fengshui 'sifu' says the best fengshui Qi is around Merrum area wor, haha.

However, I think we should try to avoid western sun and junctions when choosing a property as it will increase the difficulty to sell in future.

CY Jie Jie, no news from your cable on the DIBS replacement scheme yet?

If SEH ask you bring 10% balance meaning that 'NO' discount REBATE.... .
For me, there have 2 possibilities;
1) The DIBS Scheme still continues as previous phase/type.
2) No Discount Rebate and No DIBS scheme since the SMS didn't mention anything on DIBS which follow BNM instruction.

Hopefully the DIBS Scheme still continue.....

I really hope that SP somehow continue the DIBS scheme or have some sort of rebate in replacement of DIBS. It would be unfair to the Aquatilis buyers who have already forked out premium price for the house and moreover felt shortchanged if no DIBS or similar scheme being offered.
Rang SP up last week and the person in charge told me there will be some sort of a rebate scheme if DIBS is abolished.
We will know the answer next week in the welcome centre. Haha...
