My link better, more reliable.

BTW, your model? Cause this set of keycaps are cherry profile, mean if you install it on OEM profile, it will be a tad shorter.

ducky shine2 Black (MX blue), Filco Majetouch 2 White(MX Brown)
Heard there are a lot of kind of key caps materials.
POM, PBT, dye sub etc.
Which 1 is the most tahan 1 for intensive typing.
My ducky's ABS keys already shining using around 1-2months.

Dyesub isn't material, but the printing method.

Since your boards are OEM profile boards, I think the previous link isn't too suitable for you (that one cherry profile, if install on your board will be shorter than stock keycaps).

PBT and POM are durable enough for most ppl.

Too pricy, I rather take the normal white PBT from keycool.

So, can't choose any key caps with cherry name on it? sad.gif
I think POM is ok to me, although i never type on with POM as long as it blank. smile.gif

In short yes, those "Cherry" and "原厂" better to avoid.

For POM, I will suggest you better avoid it too, as most POM keycaps are made too tight, mean you may accidentally pull the switch stems out when removing keycaps next time.

In short, I will suggest you to get from below, depend on your color preference (avoid black color as it is POM)

Can say so. But keycool stock keys also got POM, ABS and PBT, depend on which version you take.

That's rather misleading.
Original Cherry /GMK/BSP keycaps are the best keycaps.
It is the chinese clones that are bad.
The ones that are tight come from PLU/PLUM.
However, Imsto's cherry profile PBT dyesubs keycaps are good, and don't hurt your switches.

Also, what's with the piss poor printing and font on the keycool PBT. It is a tad better than the Vortex ones, but still awful.
I guess you are the quantity over quality guy given that you'd take that awful Vortex RGB DS PBT over the good ones?

Nope.

I suggest him to avoid cherry profile for dat he isn't changing fullset. It will be weird to mix both oem stock keycaps with cherry profile.

Regarding the POM part, some chinaboards (namely keycool, kbc and plu) are having tight POM. The ok one is rare, such as official cherry or plum's one.

In his condition, he seeking for blank cap, which so far the ok one (POM) didn't offer (except you manage to special order official cherry one unprinted). As he is still beginner, so I suggested him to simply avoid it.

For the vortex RGB, yar the printing sucks, but at least, it is still pbt, which is far superior than most oem boards' offer.

So in short, my suggestion is valid enough. I gave suggestion based on his requirements and needs, rather than suggesting what is the best he can get.

hmm...i have a bit of doubt with keycool keycaps set.
rmbr the first gen of keycool that has problems with spacebar?

when i bought my keycool 87 few months ago, the spacebar can fit in my ducky and vice versa. yay! but along with my keycool, i bought keycool's pink modifier keycaps set also. the pink spacebar couldn't fit perfectly in my ducky. it gets stucked. also it's warped. so i had to do the hairdryer thing. even so, it still gets stucked. so if u want to be sure that the spacebar works, get it only if u r using costar stabilizers.

K70, non-standard layout.

So far only maxkeyboard got the adaption kit for the non-standard modifiers and spacebar.

For blank translucent keycaps (i think the material should be ABS iinm), taobao got sell, but not full set.

Edited: Just came across a perfect example to illustrate the pain of non-standard layout.

haha...the pain to change all keycaps on a gaming keyboard.
need to get moogle kits for 1.25 Alt and 6.25 spacebar only if the stems are in the same place (gaming keyboard layout uses 6.5 spacebar) and tsangan kits for 1.5 Ctrl and 1x winkey and fn or just get blanks for these.
even after getting all that and able to fit in a spacebar, there's still 0.125 gaps between the spacebar and both Alt. >.<
