Since your boards are OEM profile boards, I think the previous link isn't too suitable for you (that one cherry profile, if install on your board will be shorter than stock keycaps).

PBT and POM are durable enough for most ppl.

In short yes, those "Cherry" and "原厂" better to avoid.

For POM, I will suggest you better avoid it too, as most POM keycaps are made too tight, mean you may accidentally pull the switch stems out when removing keycaps next time.

I suggest him to avoid cherry profile for dat he isn't changing fullset. It will be weird to mix both oem stock keycaps with cherry profile.

Regarding the POM part, some chinaboards (namely keycool, kbc and plu) are having tight POM. The ok one is rare, such as official cherry or plum's one.

In his condition, he seeking for blank cap, which so far the ok one (POM) didn't offer (except you manage to special order official cherry one unprinted). As he is still beginner, so I suggested him to simply avoid it.

For the vortex RGB, yar the printing sucks, but at least, it is still pbt, which is far superior than most oem boards' offer.

So in short, my suggestion is valid enough. I gave suggestion based on his requirements and needs, rather than suggesting what is the best he can get.

IINM, 108 keys set that are blank somemore had long gone in taobao (even keycool's own store also don't have).

Better ask the agent to double confirm the availability first.

EDITED: Just checked the sale history, recently still got a set sold, mean probably still have stock.

Also, as the keycaps maybe quite old, I not too sure on the compatibility of the spacebar, better have a check on that too.

EDITED2: Just noticed that they bundle in an extra no logo blank spacebar, with 5 stems one. Which mean it should be compatible with Filco, ducky and so on.

Regarding the cherry profile thing, I don't think it is fake. The RRP is around the 7x range RMB. It is firstly mean to be a bundle for those who get Cherry G80-3496.

TK user here, the build quality is not bad and have bunch of features. Unless u really need a compact kb with numpad like me, else not so recommended due to the non-standard layout.

3. Media keys access and Win Key lock

The NKRO is working and i don't really utilize it fully. I only enable it when playing o2mania that needs 7 keys pressed at same time. Compared to 6 keys, I feel very slightly delays when using N-Keys mode. I'm not so sure about this is true or not coz it just a feel.

Laptop's keyboard isn't using USB interface, hence no the default 6keys limitation.

Btw, I doubt your keyboard is really 8kro. I think it is 2kro but passing certain 8keys combination.

im in doubt either. even if they are able to put a 6 KRO onto a laptop, maybe the PCB board will be very thick. hence, the laptop's thin profile cannot be kept.

i mean that since a mech kb has 6 KRO (as default), normally the board itself will be thicker than laptop keyboard's board. so if you are going to plant that thing into your laptop, are you able to close it perfectly?

That's why hardcore people always looking for the best for their fingers.

Usually starting from the switch.
Linear vs Tactile. Best linear would be vintage black and the tactile one should be mx clear.

Springs - stock springs not so nice - 55G/62G korean springs will be the best.

Lube - A must for the best feeling out of your fingers.

Stickers - Eye candies. Less wobbles, for people can feel it.

Plate - just metal/alu plate.

Casing - Metal casing is a must too (P/S I should recommend this first before anything)

Memory foam - Another little things, but giving great effect. It dampens the sound a lot. Quite noticeable. But you can't use too thick as you will feel like typing a keyboard on sofa.
