Not necessary if u just plan to use that rig for normal usage and some flash games. The integrated graphic by Intel chip is more than enough.

Me also wondering the same thing, planning to built a new rig with Xeon 1230v3 in the future, so is it enough if just using "cheap" gpu
just because the xeon doesn't have have graphic inside? hmm.gif .. like 100 or 200 ringgit... but my RAM will be 16GB..
Me just playing candy crush on fb though laugh.gif
My main purpose for this pc is for engineering simulation software like Agilent ADS..

If just photo editing like photoshop not really needed. Unless for video editing that involves animation or viewing angle of modelling objexts program then a dedicated gpu will be helpful.

Edit: In case when he really needed he can add on anytime too as long as the PSU can handle.

Budget dont know yet, i just want to play all latest games in high to ultra settings... can you give me specs and price for it? Monitor not included yet...

Ultra setting, better prepare minimumly RM3k for the rig alone (means monitor, mice, keyboard, speaker and so on not counted). Of course if you can make it 4k will be even sweeter.

CPU - 600-1k
MOBO - 300-700
GPU - 800-1.5k
RAM - 220-500
HDD - 200-700(if include SSD)
PSU - 300-800(if plan to overclock or SLI/XFX in future)
CASE - 300-1k++

Try to strike your own balance in between.

Xeon > i5
Ram no need pay the extra, normal RM230 one should do just fine.
U2312>S2340. U2312 is an Ultrasharp monitor, while S is just normal IPS. I last week go lowyat checked, still got stock for U2312.

hmm.gif The CPU is a bit better,i think it's better than my recommendation.
But you can get a cheaper PSU like FSP Hexa 500W from Viewnet,cheaper RAM Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RM229 from Viewnet and get Asrock B85M Pro4 RM279 also from Viewnet.Haven't seen a Value RAM that has 8GB with 250+ price. sweat.gif

If you stick to my recommendation,you can get Dell S2240L 21.5' RM489 so it kinda fits with the intel xeon e1230 v3 and GTX760 rig i recommended.

And in your rig, the GTX760 is RM850, where in TS built is RM799. Can always buy and install seperately one. tongue.gif
